(Kristian Alfonso and Greg Vaughan anyway) memorialized him on their twitter accounts and expressed their condolences and their honor to work with him. Other than that, I think any on-air tribute to Ralph Waite as Father Matt or memorial to the actor was either forgotten about or scrapped altogether. At least I don’t remember one; instead Father Louis appeared, who suddenly became Father Matt’s replacement.

Then she threw salt on the wound by telling her she was going to donate the money to Jennifer’s charity because she didn’t want one cent from her or anything at all to do with her mother. When Eve told the guy he was too old for her and called him a pervert for trying to seduce her young daughter, I about lost it. Talk about revenge — Paige is my new hero!!!
especially since I can’t stand Carrie! LOL! Although, I have to admit, I did love GG as "Faux-Rafe". He really came into "acting" in that role!
but there was little to NO romantic scenes between them. I agree about her looks. I’ve seen her publicity pics and AW is a very pretty woman. Wonder why they made her so drab on DOOL.
I mean, let’s face it, so far we have been hearing about legacy character returns, even right down to SORASing the chldren of legacy characters, so where does Ava Vitali fit into this mold? Until she was penned by Dena Higley, the Vitali’s were certainly not among the legends like Toni/Andre, Shawn D., Belle, Steve (Patch), Bo, and the list of returnees goes on. She did have that ridiculous sl with John Black, but that was when he was being brainwashed (god, I hate to even say that) by Stefano as "RoboJohn", so I’m hoping he doesn’t even remember her. Please don’t try and tell me, writers, that this is where Steve’s been all this time. So if she’s going to be involved with Steve, I hope it’s some sort of reformed ex-mafia princess going straight, or maybe another ISA agent or something along that route, rather than going after Steve again in some romantic fashion. Eww, forget I said that, writers. No thanks to that as a possible sl, especially when many fans are waiting patiently for Patch and Kayla to work through the problems which led to their very long separation. It’s time to reunite the supercouples. After all, Ken Corday and the cast members themselves have been droning on about getting back to basics when everyone loved DOOL!!!
I thing it would be a world of fun if she got interested in becoming one of Salem’s finest and partnered up with Hope; sort of a Cagney and Lacy type partnership — and stay away from the men in her life who bring her nothing but grief — yep, that’s what I’d like to see for Nicole.
I used to love Eric when he was a priest. Now that was when he was one sexy man, even if he was a man of the cloth. Now, though, he grates on my nerves. All the hell he put Nicole through, even when she deserved it, then he kicked her to the curb when Serena came rolling into Salem. He was so wrapped up in his past with Serena that he forgot to look past that time and find out what she was today. Now that he knows of her past with Xander, it’s back to picking Nicole up, dusting her off, and wanting to start all over again. He is not my idea of a good catch any longer, but knowing Nicole like we know Nicole, she’ll forget all about how he treated her, as she does every man who crushes her heart. Really, all this sorrow now over a kiss and a thought of what might have been. Get over it, Eric….and get over yourself while you’re at it. All Eric is to me now is just another pretty face.
but "nice work if she can get it!" As for Chase, I don’t know what the plan is, but I read he will stay on after Aiden leaves. Don’t know why either. Maybe that will change. I would love to see Sami come back with an amazing sl that will convince her to stay, even though we are among the few who hope so. I know from Thaao’s tweets that she (Sami) will be involved with a sl with him, John and Marlena, and that I’m looking forward to. AS gets almost as bad a rap on the boards as does Shawn Christian. Hope they both have the last laugh!!! I know I would! LOL!
some will be here for the 50th only, but the 50th anniversary celebration will be a 9-month long combination of sls beginning with the takeover by the new writers in mid-late August. I know that Steve Nichols, Peter Reckell, Martha Madison, Wally Kurth, Mary Beth Evans, Jason Lastovich (JL will be the SORASed Joey Johnson) and Thaao Penghlis (Tony/Andre) will all be on contract with even more additions as well as departures announced in September, but how long the individual returnees will stay with the show is anybody’s guess. The new stories will dictate that one, I suppose. Also, the latest to be released will be True O’Brien (Paige), and the two actors who play Daphne and Cole. I know Ali’s return is supposed to be a short arc, but I don’t know if that’s still the case or not. Still no word on her younger kids, though. Also, besides Joey Johnson, all the other kids on screen now will be SORASed, including Ciara, Chase andTheo, as well as Belle and Shawn D.’s daughter, Claire. They will all be the new teen scene crew and come back around the age of 16. All in all, big changes in DOOL coming with the new writers. My wish would have been for pink slips given to JL and KdP (Theresa and Eve), but I guess we can’t have everything. LOL! With all that being said, it’s the stories that count for me, so if the writing is good to great, I won’t mind who I’m watching, but huge promises have been made that DOOL is being completely revamped and the fans will not be disappointed. Guess we’ll have to be the judges of that though!!!

Eric got on my last nerve Friday. Nicole, however, has always been a flip-flopper, so her indecisive ways don’t surprise me at all. I just had to smdh when there was heavy insinuation that they "almost made love." They kissed, for goodness sake. But from the discussion between Eric and Nicole, one would have thought they were ready to do it. These writers have ruined just about every sl on this show right now, and I cannot wait until they are over, done with, GONE!!!
Shawn Christian works diligently alongside Ari putting on events, camps, that sort of thing, and they go together together (as a couple) to promote events relating to the camp, etc., so my answer would be yes, they’re still very much together in real life.
