Brandon Beemer is a catch! His family is so nice, loving and down to earth and he seems the same way. You can tell he just adores Nadia. He obviously loves her enough to put up with her mom.
And that’s exactly what I was talking about when I said Farah is unlikeable. It’s not just he way she bosses JP around–yeah he needs to grow up–but she says some really awful things. You have to know which bridges to burn and I don’t think calling Dee a bitch is in her best interest, especially when she’s now an unemployed actress. I know Kirsten Storms isn’t necessarily the nicest person either, but after watching Farah, I have a hard time believing that the falling out between the two of them was all Kirsten’s fault.
Farah is very unlikeable. Can’t wait to see what happens. I think JP has no desire to marry her because it would be like marrying his mom. Another domineering woman.
OMG!!! Nadia’s mom could not get any worse! At first I thought she did it as an attention grab because she’s on a reality TV show, but now, I just think she horrible! She’s almost as bad a Kate on Days. The only redeeming quality she has is that she hasn’t tried to poison Brandon or set him up in a prostitution scandal. However, she did call him a drug dealer. My heart goes out to Nadia. I see her point of not wanting to get into a confrontation with her mom, but standing up to her was a good thing, regardless of the fact that her mom walked out. At least her mom has discovered that she’s got a spine. I also thought it was awful how Fary faked being sick and then on camera said Brandon’s family was trash. She is the kind of woman I’d like to buy for what she’s worth and sell for what she thinks she’s worth. Poor, poor Nadia and Brandon!
I thought Nadia’s mom was a b!tch, now I just know that she is the rudest woman on earth. She has absolutely no class. I’ve never seen anyone as rude as she is. I’m beginning to wonder if she is just doing this for the camera in hopes she gets her own reality show. She is almost a caricature of herself. Not only is she rude, honestly she’s quite cruel to Nadia. She says she loves her, but she brings up Nadia’s old boyfriend as if he were a god. I bet she treated him like sh!t while they were dating, but now he’s wonderful because she has a new boyfriend to treat like sh!t. She criticizes Nadia’s taste in furniture, men, style, friends. Is there anything she likes? I honestly believe that she is a very unhappy insecure woman and her only pleasure in life is bringing everyone down so that she can feel superior about herself.
I’m just a closet romantic–I want them to be Dan’s parents to make for a happy ending for Maggie and Victor. If Vic’s involvement is devious and deceptive that’s the end of Magic and I don’t want that to happen, they are so great together. BTW, they could always explain that as part of the reason for Mel’s miscarriage.
Agree about he Spock ears. I so noticed that on Tues. show. I am hoping that Victor new about Lillian having in vitro and that maybe he was connected in some way to the clinic that she used, but not directly involved in the fact that Maggie’s eggs were taken. Does that make sense? Kind of like he feels guilty because he invested in the research/clinic, or advised Lillian to use the clinic, or even maybe they used his sperm and Daniel is his child and he’s always known it, but agreed to keep it a secret all these years. I just don’t want him to be involved in criminal way because that would split Maggie and Victor and I don’t want that to happen. I also think it would be a greater story in the end if all is revealed and they find out that Daniel is Vic’s and Maggie’s son. Of course that could be weird given that Melanie was married to Phillip and he would now be her uncle. Come to think of it, she was with Nathan and he’s now her cousin. Bizarre! Salem is very incestuous!

I agree with you both. I haven’t seen Monday’s show yet, but PM’s acting has been stiff from the get go. I could say maybe it’s the time away from the character–I thought that of Marlena and John. But, they’ve seemed to overcome that and are in the swing of things. They are very John and Marlena-ish. Patrick Muldoon just seems awkward. If he’s not planning to get better in this role, please send him back to Switzerland and leave Carrie here. She’s the only one who seems natural in her role.
they are still divorced. If you notice, she’s not wearing a wedding band. I can see having a little ceremony to re-marry each other because if they don’t, then technically they’re not married.
Just watched the scene and I’m not interpreting what you all are. That is just John Aniston’s look. I don’t think the new writers are such fools as to split apart a pairing the viewers are so very happy about. I think Victor is going to be ecstatic when he finds out who the "baby" is.
ITA about the show. Monday’s show was great. It’s about time we have the exciting Days back. Makes me want to watch it because it’s good, not because I’m trying to see who survives the train wreck.
I think he was fired under the old storylines from the old writers. Then the new writers had second thoughts and thought the character had some potential. I’m willing to give him a chance. I do want to see how they explain Taylor’s absence after they left all lovey dovey to start over again and I’d like to see who they pair him with. Is anyone availble? Abby and Melanie are too young, and I think they’re going to have a story with Chad. Nicole seems to be headed back to EJ. Personally, I don’t want another new character added, but that’s the way it looks to be heading if they bring him back.
I have never understood why writers take couples who have amazing chemistry and are fan favorites and put them in these ridiculous triangles. Not only do they ruin our "Super Couples" but they make the characters unrecognizable and un-likable. It’s about time we have the real Bo and Hope back together again.
