In reality, Renee was fired from the show. Lexi had been involved with another man and she and Abe were having marriage problems. Lexi left the house and was in an accident or something and disappeared. Later Days decided to rehire Renee so they came up with the silly locked in a cave story. I don’t recall a reason being given.
I know a lot of people love Stefano, but I’d love to see his time on Days come to an end. I’m so tired of him and his antics. The character has grown old and stale.
I see people on here coming up with great ideas, why can’t the writer? I’m keeping my fingers crossed for improvement.
Sounds like my show is being cancelled and they’re bringing everyone back for on last hoorah. I would love to see thes characters back, but part of me thinks this is wishful thinking. As for Peter Reckell, I hope he’s not leaving. He has been and always will be Bo to me, so I won’t accept anyone else in that role and I surely don’t want his character killed off.
We are getting new writers. My problem is that someone let this crap make it to the air. What sh!t! Between the unsafe safe house, Rafe’s pretending to be the daddy of Nicole’s baby, Carrie in love with Rafe, etc. TPTB should be ashamed of themselves. I swear, if I hadn’t been a viewer during the James Reilly years, I’d think this was the worst writing ever.
I’m sure if they sleep together again, we would definitely end up with another baby. I swear, he’s gotten Nicole pregnant twice when she wasn’t suppose to be able to get pregnant and gotten Sami pregnant twice from single isolated sexual encounters. I think if anyone in Salem has a fertility issue they should give EJ a call. His sperm works where others fail.
These two boys are quite talented so I’m glad to see they are branching out and taking advantage of other opportunities. That said, I will be sad to see them leave. They are just so darn cute and so fun to watch.
I’m willing to give him some time. I’ve seen actors who are seasoned come on and do a worse job–Austin. I think he’s comfortable in front of the camera, just hasn’t been given much yet. That’s o.k. By me. I hate when they bring a new character on and give them lots of screen time. They are definitely easing him in. Just glad they didn’t make him Lexi’s dr.
O.k. I got confused. I agree, I’m not liking Rafe. However, I hate, hate, hate Carrie. I wish she would go away. Yuck! She should be ashamed of herself. I have to ff through all her scenes.
The reason they are not just having Lexi disappear is because Renee asked to leave the show. She is retiring the character. I’m happy that they are going to give her a proper send off. I would have hated TPTB if they had done nothing and just had her disappear.
