I wasn’t watching DAYS then, why did Stefano have Lexie "imprisoned" in an underground tunnel? She must have done something awful. How long was it for? Even if Stefano blamed it on someone else, why didn’t he do something about it?
In reality, Renee was fired from the show. Lexi had been involved with another man and she and Abe were having marriage problems. Lexi left the house and was in an accident or something and disappeared. Later Days decided to rehire Renee so they came up with the silly locked in a cave story. I don’t recall a reason being given.
Actually, Stefano did not put Lexi in the tunnel, Andre did. I cannot remember if Stefano knew about it.
I thought Andre was in jail at the time and Stefano was in a coma… EJ was the one Lexie and Tek witnessed shooting John Black and after that they got in a car crash and went missing. Ej gloated to Celeste about it that the star witness in the shooting was missing. Of course later on when they found her in the tunnel they blamed it on Andre.
Stefano blamed Andre, but it was actually E.J. who kidnapped and imprisoned Lexi in the tunnels. Stefano didn’t know anything about it and blamed Andre for it, when it was really E.J. all along, because he thought Lexi and Tek witnessed him shooting John.
