I do think he still loves Parker. I see it as now that Phillip knows Parker is his son he’s stepping aside to let Phillip get to know him, something he was NEVER allowed to get to do with Melanie.
I also agree with those that said he’s more hurt that Chloe slept with his daughter’s husband. To him right now that’s the lowest 2 people could get. Then there’s the lies that were kept for 9 months and how many people knew about it and kept it a secret from both him and Malanie.
I’m not seeing it that way. He’s hurting and he knows the boy’s not his son yet he’s still providing for him and Chloe by getting them an apartment and paying rent on it. He doesn’t want to be with Chloe and since she is Parker’s mother that means if Chloe goes then Parker goes too but he’s not kicking them to the curb just relocating them.
Kate did mention how Daniel now knows how Lucas felt so at least she didn’t forget.
That’s true but since none of them are plus size women they usually have more choices of what’s available than those of us who don’t have perfect shapes and proportions.
Before they could do that they’d need to bring back Dr. Rolf. He’s the one that seemed to resurrect everybody.
I do remember a few people had the TV on and caught something on the news but that was about it. I think it was once at Bo and Hopes and maybe Sami when she lived in that apartment across from Lucas and down the hall from EJ.
As far as cell phones I’m sure the entire cast has their own phones why not have them use their personal phones but have the volume off or the entire phones off so there won’t be any chance of them ringing off cue. At least there would be some variety.
Abe and Lexie have broken up or come close to it so many times and usually due to Lexi’s wandering eye and Abe’s insecurities. Doug and Julie had a rocky start and there were many times it looked like they’d never get together but once they did they’re as solid as Tom and Alice but maybe that’s because they stayed away from Salem for so long and even now they’re always jaunting off someplace.
Maybe he had an offer to do something else for a few months and told them if they didn’t use him he’d like to take advantage of that other offer. Since there was nothing pressing for him at the time (he and Mel can always be put on hold) it was easier to write him out for a short time.

They’re waiting 4 months and then are recasting the character.
BUT
Look at history, we were told Lucas was out in the past and he was only gone for a short time. Same with John he was fired but then came back. I still don’t believe he was fired at that time but was given time off screen with plans on bringing him back. TPTB just wanted to cause a stir and get the fans in an uproar.
All we know was Carly was on the computer, we never saw what she was doing and the end of that episode had everyone either on a computer or on the phone and ended by saying "it’s done" or something similar. Even Victor, Phillip and Daniel were part of that scenerio.
Can’t forget Jack Jr.,Little Joey, Cierra and Theo.
Then we could have Carrie and Austin return with a couple of kids and Chelsea and Max could have at least one by now. Then we know Stefano’s always going to have kids coming out of the woodwork until the cows come home.
Whether it comes out that Daniel is the daddy or not doesn’t take away from the fact that Stephanie knew about the test and was going to change the results or the that Chloe and Phillip had sex when Phillip was married to Melanie. So, even if it comes out that Daniel is the daddy it wouldn’t have any bearing on the plot to reunite Nathan and Melanie as the circumstances leading up to everyone thinking that Phillip was the daddy and Stephanie trying to change the test to keep Melanie and Nathan apart are still there.
I’m sorry to have to disagree. Not all stroke victims have the drooping mouth and are unable to speak at all. Some do have a stroke that makes it difficult to form words or pick out the right word to use. A stroke after all is a brain injury and it just depends on what part of the brain is damaged as to what the effects are. They also gave her TPA right away which prevented further damage caused by the stroke so she could be up and have no physical signs of a stroke very soon. The effects could be evident to her such as some weakness or difficulty in forming words or some memory loss but just looking at her you might never be able to tell.
I’d also read that Peggy drew upon vivid memories of her aunt who’d suffered a stroke and the way she struggled with words and speach stood to her.
