They almost appear to be too “giddy” at times. But this may just be the writing team getting out the glitches and/or preparing the way for the new era and hopefully they will settle in.

And I love Doug and Julie – still a handsome couple and always liven things up.I have to say, the contestants I’ve seen (and I’ve only watched here and there) that have been good have been phenomenally good. I feel the show would improve if the one lady judge – don’t know her or her qualifications – would be dropped. I find her not useful or interesting at all. Three judges would be plenty.
but the one girl who sang Aretha Franklin’s Natural Woman blew me off my seat. Like the judges, I too, had never heard a better audition. Where has this girl been?!

That deal about letting Quinn go “if he’s outta town by sunset” – where were we – in the Old West?is getting on my nerves as bad as his uncle. Like he making such a big deal about Mykala’s attractiveness and how he is battling to contain himself. How ridiculous can you get!
First off, I laughed at how B&H pulled up the incident of Gus being abandoned by his mother and bingo – there was the motive. And then Gus pulling out the knife seemingly out of nowhere. I didn’t see any threat to him at that point.

about how previous writing staffs would never have put out things like the EJ/Nicole tango, the 3 couples out for a fun evening, and the way Dario departed.
I actually found myself a bit sad at his leaving. I started out not liking him at all and he did grow on me as his character softened and became more responsible, and I thought his match w/Melanie was the best for her so far.
Not the case for Taylor and Gus though – it will be sayonara!!
