casey ParticipantI sure don’t mind looking at guest judge Enrique Iglesias! casey ParticipantI’ve watched here and there. The contestants have now been separated into groups – ala gals, guys, over 30s – and are being “mentored” by the judges at these lavish homes. There are a few contestants quite good. But it’s not a program by any means I’ve viewed regularly and it lacks the excitement and spontaneity of AI. casey Participantto see them as a solid married couple. When I think of all that wasted time on Bo and Carly and Hope as an attacker – whatever were those writers thinking! casey Participantover-emphasizes it almost every time. It has always bugged me. October 13, 2011 at 9:40 pm in reply to: Did anyone notice voice of the interviewer with the British accent? #27580casey ParticipantLike listening to fingernails on the blackboard. How on earth did Days hire her? I mean, this role doesn’t call for any big name, so any decent actress could have done it. Sorry if that’s her normal voice but it was a huge distraction and difficult to understand. casey Participantand I’d like to see Lexie with a more creative do than just long and straight. casey Participantand I’ve made a couple comments this is my early beef w/the new writers: long-winded conversations that are reptitious and leave me feeling restless. J&J did not need to go on and on yesterday. Airtime could be utilized more effectively. casey ParticipantI’ve never had a problem getting into and sticking w/Survivor since its inception. But this installment for me is not very involving, to the point where I haven’t even tuned in for the whole episode.
I was always able to indentify the players and they were all, for the most part, interesting. But this season’s lineup, outside of Ozzy and Coach, I couldn’t tell you who’s who, except for Russell’s nephew, Cochran and a couple others. No one jumps out at me and so far I can’t find anyone I’m rooting for. Even Ozzy and Coach aren’t lighting it up.
Maybe it’s poor selection or lack of chemistry, or dare I say maybe Survivor has run its course? Whatever it is, I’m just not excited.casey Participantabout “most people” hating Nancy on her show, as it remains popular. I may be wrong but I think votes for Nancy are tied in to helping her victims foundation? casey Participantand Sami can wear just about any color too. casey Participantover the top embarrassing Jack. How ridiculous does a father look bursting in on his college-aged daughter “forbidding” her to see a guy? Jack claims he’s changed and ready to do anything to get his family back. I sure hope Days doesn’t keep this guy stuck in the past.
I know many like(d) Jack but I was never one. When he decides to mature some, I’ll reconsider.casey Participantever watch this back and see themselves acting so childish. And I wonder if they think of how their behavior is viewed by fans. casey Participantthe two Vegas showgirls. AR is one of my favorites so I never miss it. It is tough and frustrating though, when football runs over and messes the schedule up. casey Participantreally helps (at least me) keep off extra weight. I pretty much eat what I want but taking long, brisk walks with my very energetic collie does the trick. Many diets come and go but it’s still pretty basic: if you want to lose weight burn off more calories than you take in. casey Participantrunning a Dick VanDyke marathon this weekend. I think those shows still hold up well. The cast was outstanding and the writing so good.
