The repetition is killing this show. And it seems to really be an issue with this writing team. In order to string out SLs they resort to this, along with character assasination.
I either love her outfits or hate them. And I loved it today. I’ve really been liking the jewelry all the gals are wearing. Yes, Marlena looked great in that purple.
we assume a lot happens off camera. I too shook my head on that comment about Sydney. And Sami’s behavior was totally ridiculous/embarrassing and what was the basis for it? Brady’s also. The writers are just throwing scenes out there to make it appear as if some high drama is going on. Who are they fooling? And so far they are no better than any team we’ve suffered through.

It is a cheap way to do biz. But at least if Jen were found to be a bit “off” due to inheriting her mother’s madness I could take that. But I don’t think that’s the case and I do agree Caroline’s behavior – still at that early stage – was taken a bit to the extreme by her family.which is no fun on this show! For instance, Halloween decorations but no Halloween. Would it be that much expense to get some costumes and hold a party at the pub and show our Salemites cutting loose and dancing etc? Everyone is so dour!
low quality product has been going on for years. I can’t even remember when it was still the kind of show I anxiously anticipated sitting down for every afternoon. There is no excuse for bad or lazy writing no matter if you’re on a listing ship.
if it’s KC & Company that’s driving this drivel. Afterall, how many writing teams has Days had over the past several years – people who’ve come with credentials from other successful soaps – and we’ve continued to see this same pattern that is tiresome, silly, boring, unrealistic with plot usurping character.
For me, Days lost its way with the death of the senior Cordays. As the saying goes, cut off the head and the body dies.that this SL WOULD lead to Jenn seeking counseling because at least we’d have some cause and effect. But somehow I doubt it; it’s going to be the truth about the baby’s death comes out and Daniel will come crying back to his mom and Jenn about how right they were.
Maggie’s insufferable butting in has been this way for some time now, but Jenn it is just unseemly. Who da heck are these people to harrass Dan or anyone!Never liked EJ but I loved Rafe at first. Ever since Carrie and Nicole he’s become increasingly unlikeable.
I’ve made it known never really liked Kristen but I do have to admit, in light of the continued subpar content Days is dishing out, she has added a spark. And that is a tribute to Eileen’s acting, not her SL. I still don’t like her trying to separate J&M. but more so because John is taking her far too lightly and is not demonstrating his staunch support and protection of Marlena like he should.
I love the idea of Sonny having HIV.with all these couples – they’re painted into a corner by hitting the sack way too early. What’s left? Certainly not romance. I would have liked Gabs and Nick more if they had progressed slowly, but this is Days M.O.
Is there still a chance Gabi will fall preggers? Maybe that’s a factor in the hurry up relationship w/Nick?it’s on my must see list every year. Although the dialog and some of the acting are really hokey I love the neighborhood and atmosphere and that terrific score. I also enjoyed Halloween 2.
has commented on his departure? If so does he have something in mind for work? Would he consider returning at some point?
I would think given time and if no one comes calling we may well see him as Bo again.because as far as the SL is concerned Bo is not leaving for good; therefore the sendoff had to be limited. Days put themselves in no man’s land trying to negotiate a fine line between the character apparently only being gone temporarily to the actor leaving for good. Maybe the brass is holding out hope PR will return on their terms at some point ala John and Marlena.
But yes, Days cannot keep him simply off camera indefinitely and I have no idea if fans will accept another actor in the role. They did have some success with Kelker-Kelly.
