makes me so frustrated and annoyed. They’ve really shone with SLs over the past couple months. But then they sink to new lows IMO just for the sake of sensationlism ala “Let’s go there!” That a priest should be put into that position for ratings, pushing the envelope, “sex sells” or whatever the lowdown motive, there is no excuse for it in my book. I wonder how it would fly if a Moslem Imam or Jewish Rabi were substituted for Fr Eric?.
Jen, are you serious!! And the way she was standing up for him, sounding like a fool trying to explain to Dan that he had a legit reason for being there.
But then I’ve seen plenty of mothers defend their kids to the absurd degree.
I do like though how they are moving this along – this kid has something going every day.the way he goes from one woman to the next falling for anything they say. So I’m not surprised he’s listening to Jen. Wouldn’t it be even more delicious if he tells Kristen he was ready to give her another chance when her latest scheme is revealed.
Days has been slinking along aimlessly and wearily for months and then suddenly May comes and we get this Must See TV? Does Days pay attention to viewers? Surely they must, unless they finally got a reality check on how truly awful this soap had become.
I do believe Eileen’s return helped start the turnaround.As far as Nicole and Brady, I concur. It’s not so much the fact that they hooked up – I can see that as a rebound on Brady’s part – but he seemed in pretty good spirits for a man who was ready to defy everyone and break off family relationships for this supposed great love.
Kristen targeting Eric – yeah it’s despicable but isn’t that the perfect way to show just how evil Kristen really is? Days seems to be finally bringing Stef back to his original mafioso ways and now it’s his daughter’s turn to follow.
I’ve long been a critic of Days writing sensationalism just for the sake of it. But for Kristen to be portrayed as possibly the most demonic Dimera, Eric would be the ultimate victim.If there is trouble with Justin and Adrienne might they bring up Justin’s feeling for Hope again? And maybe mutual with Bo gone?
Second, these couples on Days seem to grieve and rage for about ten minutes then on to the next. I too find it distasteful but then this is fantasy not the real world. (or is it?)I wasn’t so impressed with the actress playing Bernardi’s wife. She was competent enough but I did not feel her shock and anguish upon being told of her husband’s “murder.” It came off to me as “okay, now I say this line…”
Dan and Jen even had a “relationship?” They’ve been a happy pair for all of about ten minutes. I haven’t seen much depth because they are either apologizing/miscommunicating with one another or apart by the manipulation of others.
How did this happen? Was this a known risk going in? I will be praying for you BB and cannot imagine your not contributing to this list.
