I have to believe the Sonny attack came from Clyde (who thinks he’s really dead?) BTW wouldn’t someone in Vic’s camp have checked to see whether he was really dead? I mean it isn’t like they tossed his body w/ the fishes.
Serena, the way she’s reacted emotionally to Eric seems rather detached to me. I don’t know if this is intentional to throw viewers off or perhaps she is being blackmailed or perhaps truly is a villain. Why is she doing this now? It depends on what Days intends to do with her and Eric as a couple. I liked her briefly in the beginning but certainly have doubts now.
Eve and JJ – please put an end to this torture!how anyone would not do hard prison time if found guilty. But this is Theresa who is the teflon villain.
Nicole keeps shooting herself in the foot. It looks like eventually she will be the girl who cried wolf and no one will believe her. Even though I firmly believe she’s on the money about Serena. Serena is starting to show her true colors now and I have to hand it to the actress.

is top of the list. You can endure lackluster SLs and characters if the show moves along briskly. Dragging out is so 40 years ago. This is an impatient society now and it’s a sure way to lose viewers. But I still am confused as to whether the current state of affairs is due to writers or the very top brass. If it is the writing then shame on them because they are not earning their keep.
I’m hoping Kristen’s return (w/baby?) will give a shot of adrenaline.I think it’s been on three weeks out of the last six. And the thing is they are running a special three part episode. Not smart if they knew in advance it would be pre-empted by award shows or a CSI show.
For me it’s a combo of lackluster characters, poor, unimaginative and unengaging SLs, and the snail pace. One thing I thought would change in soaps over the years is the pacing. Considering how everything in society is so fast nowadays, you’d think daytime would fall in line. But then the writers would really have to work, right!
My broken record comments: where’s the drama, where’s the romance, where’s the fun? Will there be a February sweeps?that have a character or more in danger. Even though they can be predictable I enjoy seeing the dashing hero coming to the rescue. I always like those stalker ones!
I’m thinking maybe Aiden’s wife IS alive and she’s imprisoned at the beach house. Maybe this will be a kind of Mr. Rochester/Jane Eyre thing.they were fun and light and entertaining at first but now with this wife death looming it’s pretty gloomy with this pair.
Wonder what lies at the beach house.particularly since Paige believes she knows the “girl” but her comment that she would let her have it or something to that effect. But I have to concede Paige is still very much a young girl and at that age reactions tend to be very visceral.
but adding I like Maggie when she’s not being a budinski and I particularly enjoy her scenes with Mel.
I enjoy how James Reade is playing Clyde and hoping Vic takes him down.being the one shot if she is leaving? Or they may decide to have her kill step dad and then go to jail? Or once she finds out that Chad isn’t the good guy she thinks, just leave Salem? I still think she will go to Marlena for retro-hypnosis and discover the truth – that she did not off her mom. ANd maybe that might launch her killing Clyde.
Does anyone know how long JR’s contract is for? I do like him in the role but like you, hope Vic takes him out. I want to see that Vic still has it! And open Kate’s eyes! And maybe John will help out?
