Participantthose Dateline mysteries. And they usually have 2 or 3 on a week. I’m also watching the Whispers, a paranormal/crime drama. Otherwise I often tune in classic tv shows. I only have non-network tv so I’m limited but tv is just a habit you can get in or out of.

Participanton Days – these buttinsky characters. Marlena’s grilling was downright embarrassing. Sometimes I wonder what the actors feel about these silly scenes.

Participantspending more time as Salem shrink than bigtime surgeon. And the relationship with Nicole is ridiculous as they never stay together more than five minutes. This time though, I have to stand up for Nicole as she exposed the dastardly doings of Xander and Serena.
As far as I’m concerned Shadow, you can comment on anything you please as I love all views here. But I do have to ask if you get any pleasure out of watching Days. What keeps you tuned in? Which characters and SLs do you like?casey
Participantof course of course!”

ParticipantMy point is there is no excuse for parents to not suck it up in front of their kids. The parents’ issues have nothing to do with the offspring and there should be a monumental attempt to maintain that atmosphere.
As for Days, I dearly hope Brady will not be taken in again by Mommy Dearest even though she will use everything in her arsenal.casey
Participantproblem children?! I hope they stick with the actress who plays Ciara.

Participantnot sure how her promiscuous behavior is mental illness driven? I can see a counseling issue here but to go so far into that?

ParticipantLoved Chad today. In fact I came on to say how much I am beginning to enjoy this character and how BF is playing his conflicting and complex character. So much more interesting to watch than Ben or Abby or how many others. That final scene was topflight.
What does Abby expect for her bed hopping behavior? Yes I can already see that Ben will become more like a chip off the ol’ block.casey
Participantthen I say how lame. You would risk your marriage and family over some job? Even if it’s priorty security matter, nothing is worth ruining your relationships over. Why not just tell Adrienne the truth without details?
This reminds me of the Bo absence. He lost his wife and daughter over nothing and ruined his character.casey
Participantbut I do now when he dropped the homophobia ‘tude. I wish Days would give him a greater role.

Participantkind of look like Zane?

ParticipantWhen things are hopping the forum picks up. I think this stretch however is partly due to Days’ preemption last Thurs/Fri. Plus too it’s kind of lagging with boring, predictable Abby, the nice guy but lowkey Ben and the less than scintillating Adrienne/Lucas affair. And how ridiculous is adolescent Will, finding every and I mean every oppportunity to get in digs about Paul. I felt his telling Ari today that Paul was ruining their lives was so juvenile and uncalled for. Yes, she can hardly understand the words, but the attitude can’t be healthy. BTW Paul seems to genuinely like Ari. Did you see her smile at him?
Lastly, when is Rafe going to perk up? He’s been a fringe player for far too long and this going after Clyde with Hope is stagnant – all talk no action. We need some drama here. Look at how the Kristin SL moved right along.casey
ParticipantJason for clearing that up.

Participantas last year where NBC aired the French and not Wimbeldon? Just hoping we don’t have to go through this again next month.

ParticipantStretches where I only caught the last ten minutes or so. For me it has to do with my frame of mind or not feeling well or those many periods where Days is only treading water. But so far I have always come back. Sometimes those hours of Days go so slowly you are always watching the clock – not good!
Hopefully BB, when the new writers kick in the show will perk up. -
