Participantwant’s to see Eric fall from grace but even if he does, we know we will never see any happiness for him and Nicole. If they put them together for a while, we know it won’t last because no relationship in Salem EVER lasts. So, no, I hope they don’t go there. I’d much rather see the longing last, even over the years, ala The Thornbirds, than ruin the character we have all grown to love.
We all know how much soap writers adore unrequited love so what better way than to keep it burning between Eric and Nicole than to have him continue as a priest?
Let Nicole find happiness (for a while, at least) with someone else like Brady while still having the coals of desire burning beneath for Eric and he for her. JMO

ParticipantMarlene’s leg across Will’s was a definite no-no. Hear that writers?

ParticipantShe had so many health issues but still always remained positive and up-beat. I’m sure we will all miss her hear. Does anybody know how old she was? I got the opinion that she wasn’t really that old.

ParticipantHe is a grown man, after all, not a little kid. It just made me a little uncomfortable.

ParticipantLots of characters will be wearing the same color. Wonder if there is a reason behind that.
I liked Sami’s pink dress and hair style. I think she can wear almost anything. Hated those pants today though. I think the severe style today was to convey her new position of “Most Powerful Couple in Salem.”

Participantthe leg on the lap and his hand on her leg was very strange. As much as I love my g.son, I can’t imagine doing that.
I thought Sami was acting like the "the lord of the manor" when Adrienne came in. Really putting on airs.
PLEASE send Thresa and JJ packing!

Participantthat isn’t just Florida. It came about because of the difficulty of getting enough jury members to serve. Apparently for this case they needed to have a pool of at least 300 people to pull from. In order to actually get 300 people to respond, they had to call 600. Sounds to me like something is definitely wrong with our legal system that people can so blatantly (and apparently without penalty) ignore a jury summons.
I would be happy to serve on one and in my 73 years have only been called once but wasn’t even selected to be questioned. I don’t know why people are always so anxious to get out of it.

ParticipantExplore.org is a site I frequent and I cannot post comments on it. It just will not accept them.

ParticipantWhich is strange because I had been posting for years on Firefox. It just started all of a sudden.
I post here on IE. Tried Chrome but it was way too slow.

Participantafter she had been gone for awhile. Then, when she returned, I realized just how over the top she was. So, can’t say I care about her coming back at all. There are so many other characters I’d rather see return. And, yes, I enjoy Kayla much more than Kim also. Is she on another soap now…anybody know?

ParticipantBut I don’t have a problem with Jenn’s ponytail. I think, for the most part, her hair always looks nice. They’ve tried a couple of doozies on her but they do that with Sami also. Maybe that’s why they (hair and make-up) are award winners.
(UhSir, nice to see you back with us again.)

Participantthat this is a TV show and the subjects they are showing are no different that what we are seeing on primetime or in the movies. I think the reason people are offended is because we’ve known these characters so long they are like our friends and family members and we certainly wouldn’t want these things happening to them. But they aren’t and it’s not.
As long as we keep that in mind, I don’t think there should be any outrage against the show. After all, TPTB are looking for things that get us talking. And these do.

Participantto take that annoying kid of hers back home with her and keeps her there…locked in a closet if necessary.

ParticipantKind of like Billie. Anybody even notice she’s not around anymore?

ParticipantI think you’d better have a receptacle ready. ;o) (In my family, it’s always been referred to as a ‘puke pail.’
