ParticipantI sure hate it if Allison were to leave. She’s been pretty much the backbone of the show for quite a while now.

ParticipantAnd very true. I, for one, am extremely appreciative for all the men and women who are now, or have in the past, served in the military. It allows the rest of us to live safely and happily in this great country.

ParticipantIt’s amazing how dogs know what we’re thinking. My brother had a German Shepherd that he had in the Army and when he was discharged, so was the dog. One day my little neice (3-yo at the time) was trying to climb over the picket fence and got her dress caught on a picket as she fell over onto the other side. She was hanging there upside down and the dog jumped over the fence (4′ high) and jumped up with his paws on either side of her, holding her there, and started barking until my SIL came out and got her. Pretty smart.
The lady next door with Princess had her vet tell her to put some treats in the crate at night because those little dogs can’t eat enough to keep them full all night long. Maybe if he has something to chew on to ease the growling tummy, he’ll make it thought the night better. Worth a try.

Participantconked out or not, Nicole still has the upper hand over Sami no matter what she does. And Sami is 100% correct, she will NEVER be out from under Nicole’s thumb unless she comes clean about shooting EJ.

ParticipantI forgot who it was now (Carly) that Caroline overheard saying it was Philip. Now stop FFing and pay attention!!!

Participantneed cleaning more often, or so my vet says. But I’m delinquent in brushing them so it’s really my fault I have to get them cleaned. My lab. which is the only ‘big’ dog I’ve ever had, never needed cleaning and his teeth were as white as can be, not a spot of tartar. Go figure! I have found though that the large rawhide bones really help to keep them clean.
And I’ll NEVER, EVER give them ‘Greenies’ again. They get down to the ‘brush’ part and every single time, without fail, they try to swallow the whole thing and choke on it. Those things ought to be outlawed, particularly for little dogs.

Participantwho wins the million bucks. When they get down to three (it was originally two), each person on the jury gets to address the final three and ask them why they think they should win or whatever else they want to ask/say. Then those nine people vote on the winner. (If you remember on the first Survivor, the loud-mouthed woman who came in third told Kelly, second-place, that if she came upon her lying in the street she wouldn’t stop to help her.)
I’d like to take Brenda, Nanonka and Jane out in a boat, way far from shore, and dump them in the deepest water. Then we’ll see if all their hot air can keep them afloat.

ParticipantIt sounds like the only thing it has in common with the show is the characters. To me, it’s just another run-of-the mill romance novel. I’ve never had any interest in fan fiction either and I think this falls into that category.
No thanks, no interest here either.

ParticipantWhich is why they’re letting her stay. If it came down to practically any one person and Naonka, that person would win for sure because nobody likes her. That makes her the ideal final two to go up against.
Awww, geeze, this show gives me brain trauma.

ParticipantBut that was a different Nicole, she has changed tremendously since then.

ParticipantOur cable’s On Demand is practically useless. There’s hardly anything on it ever.

Participantlittle Miss Hollier-than-thou thinking she has the obligation to tell Daniel about Chloe’s infidelity. Apparently she has forgotten what a rotten little potato she was before (and even for a while after) she came to Salem. Look at how badly she messed up her own brother’s love life. She needs to have someone sew her lips together so we don’t have to hear any more of her diatribe.

ParticipantI wouldn’t say she hasn’t improved. If you just take her dancing ability alone, I think she’s done very well and come a long way. Len even said last night during that stupid bit they do with Jerry Rice and that other goon that her execution of the dance is very good.
She is just lacking in personality. If she had the same demeanor Kyle has, I could see her going all the way but she is just plain FLAT, vanilla to the max. I don’t know why the girl can’t smile. It’s really not that hard.

ParticipantEspecially when they are puppies, they need to eat often because their little tummys can hold much. I’ve always found it easiest (for both of us) to leave food out all the time so they can eat whenever they want. Of course that makes it harder to potty train them because you’re supposed to take them out immediately after they eat.

ParticipantI have never bought a lottery ticket in my life. Yes, I know, somebody has to win, but the odds are so enormous, I feel like I’m dollars ahead by not buying.
I know what you’re saying about the bills. That’s exactly why I don’t have another dog. And I think the vets are taking advantage of us with some of the things they charge. Like the waste disposal. I got charged $5 for it when I brought in a stool sample because I suspected Frostie had worms. So, I was charged $5 to drop a quarter-size piece of poop in the toilet and flush it.
Same thing with all the special tests for "older" dogs when they get their teeth cleaned. It seems to me that those things should be included in the cost of the procedure. I know many people don’t take their dogs to the vet when they should be going just because it’s so expensive.
As far as shots go, my dogs never leave my yard, not even to go to the doggie park (which is like the worst place you can go for them to pick up a disease) so the only shots they get is for rabies. I always get the "sales pitch" when I take them in for their yearly exam but I don’t care. I don’t think they are necessary. If you board them or they are around other dogs frequently it might be worth it but not for mine. It’s just another source of income for the vet. The same as when they won’t give me a prescription for their flea and worm meds because they don’t sell the brand I want to use.
