All My Children is really a shock.  (Isn’t that Susan Lucci’s show?)  But, remember, Days is the only NBC soap so we just might be lucky enough to have them keep it on.

I seriously don’t know what I’ll do if they should cancel it.  I know that’s a stupid thing to say but I’ve spent more years with these characters than I have my own children!

I have become a very big one since he came back.  I will miss him so much.  I really don’t know how they are going to work his being gone with what’s going on with Chloe, Parker, etc. but I’m not feeling too good about a recast.  It’s the same with Belle and Sean, if they have to recast them to bring them back, don’t bother.

But…if I could handle the loss of Marlena and John (and a whole slew of others over the years), I guess I can get used to Philip being gone.  <sigh>

I feel the same as someone else who remarked they’d rather see Martha Madison if they were to return.  If they have to recast them, don’t bother.

I don’t want to have to go through that again.  They don’t actually question me but I always get a strange look and the question, "What happens when you take it?"  And I can also take hydrocodone without a problem.  Strange huh?

I just had my cataract removed and the eyedrops also had ibuprofen in them but they didn’t affect me.  It may be as you say, there’s just not that much in it.

Don’t you see the game he’s (Philip) playing.  He even came right out and explained it last night.  I was kind of on the fence with him for a while but now I see what he’s doing and I think it’s absolutely brilliant.  He’s got everybody convinced he’s a whacko and that’s just what he wants.  Listen to him when he’s only talking to the camera, he’s a totally different personality.

Look, he can’t be a dummy, as he said at council last night.  He has a degree and was an agent in THREE government agencies.  The way they vet those people out, he’s gotta be totally sane and intelligent.

Like you, I may eat my words but I believe he’ll go far.  Rob may be playing him but he’s also playing Rob.  He admitted last night he’s being "Rob’s good little soldier."  Just wait and see.

As for Matt, it’s time for him to go, he blew it completely.  I don’t care that much for David but I hope he beats Matt now.

First, your husband is the only one (besides me) I’ve ever heard of being allergic to Ibuprofen.  I also get hives.  How weird is that?  I can’t take aspirin because of my two stomach perforations and those synthetic NSAIs are like me eating M&Ms anyway.  That’s how I got on these pain killers to start with, not knowing how insidious they’d become.

Also, like you, I was getting those spincter spasms after taking codeine.  Would you believe, I was the one that figured it out by searching the internet, not the doctor.  He knew what the pain was but not what was causing it.  I went to the ER a couple of times because the pain was so intense.  And what did they give me?  Codeine!!!  Before I knew what was causing it, I would get the pain and take another codein, trying to help lessen it a little bit.  Once I figured it out, I haven’t had another one.  I couldn’t believe how painful they were.

So now here I am, trying to get off from 16 mgs. of Hydromorphone.

That was an incredible physical feat.  I think he is by far the best choreographer, even though Maks does a lot of the "extra" choreography for the show.  Maybe now that they have this new troupe, one of them will be doing more of it.

I sure would love to take lessons from one of those guys.  Would that be fantastic, or what?  Of course, I’m way to old for that now.  Boo-hoo.

it can’t even be called in.  Nor can they mail a prescription.  You have to go in person (or someone else can do it) to the doctor’s office and pick it up.

I guess the reason for this is the proliferation of "pail mills" here in FL.  They are trying to do something about it but, so far, have not been very successful.

I take narcotics for my back pain and arthritis and, let me tell you, if anyone ever wants to prescribe them for you to take on a regular basis…run away as fast as you can.  I don’t think occasional usage is that bad but regular is a nightmare.   I’ve gotten to the point where they really aren’t doing much for me any more and I told the doc I wanted to stop taking them.

Well…you just don’t stop.  I tried and after only one day, had the most horrible withdrawal you can imagine.  I had sweats, then chills, nausea, anxiety, and the most frightening nightmares you can imagine.

To try and make this a little shorter, he has now started to wean me off from them and I’ve been going at it for three months now and have only cut my usage in half.  A friend told me it took him six months to completely stop.  Now I understand why people go to rehab for "prescription pain meds."  The mental addiction is worse than the physicdal.  Frequently, when I get within an hour of my next dosage, I start to sweat and get nauseous and, many times, have to take it early and am SO tempted to take a whole one rather than the half.  So, unless you intend to take them for the rest of your life, DO NOT START!

Swan Lake has always been one of my favorites and I never cease to cry when the Black Swan dies, even last night I got tears.  I have seen the girl from the SF Ballet (the White Swan) dance in The Nutcracker and Blue Suede Shoes (when I lived in CA), and, you’re right, those dancers are every bit as athletic as most football players or other sportsmen.  And they not only have the alethetisicm but the grace and beauty also.

And God Bless Louie for bringing Kendra to task for her tastless remark.  I liked her in the beginning but she has destroyed every bit of what I felt about her.  I hope she goes home next, fervently hope she goes home!

Did you mean Chelsea, not Casey?  I think Chelsea and Mark were just a red herring.  I can’t believe they were in the bottom three…no way!

If they are in such dire expense straights, I can’t imagine they’d be able to afford to bring him back and I can’t believe he’d take a drastic cut in salary.  But, who knows?

I was always sorry I didn’t get that hourglass pendant Dee was selling.  I really liked that.

Although Ross Perot talked a pretty good game and it didn’t get him very far.  But if Trump can do for the country what he’s done for HIS business, he’s got my vote.  The only problem is, Obama talked a good game too but couldn’t deliver anything.  IMH, he’s been a dismal failure.

stick her finger in her mouth that way.  What an ass.  I wonder how she’d feel if someone did that at the mention of Playboy magazine, which I could easily do in all good conscience.

People that put down classical music have never really "listened" to it.  There has to be something said about music that has lasted hundreds of years.  You can’t say that about any of the Top 20, or rap, or any pop music.  Of course there’s a lot of it that doesn’t appeal to everybody, you just have to find the stuff that YOU like…and there’s certainly plenty to choose from.  God bless Disney for his original

Fantasia film.  It got thousands of kids to appreciate classical music.

I am trying to introduce my granddaughter to classical music as her parents aren’t really into it.  I bought her 20 of the more popular songs for her IPod and she seems to be really appreciating it.  She’s also taking piano lessons from one of the old school teachers who still assign classical songs for lessons.  I hope she will stay with it.  Classical music has brought me a lot of comfort and entertainment in my years.

Lucky, Chelsea and Mark danced to a song from the Harry Potter movies.  They were dressed as wizards.  Although that wasn’t actually what I’d call a classic, IMO, anything written by John Williams will be one, if it isn’t already.  That man is pure genius.  It was one of the few songs I thought was appropriate for the dance and Mark’s interpretation of it was very well done.

The only reasoning is because he had previously mentioned if they lost, it would be his responsibility as PM.  Never, never, never, should have been him.  The show is definitely "fixed."
