ParticipantI would think that would be a gross invasion of privacy if you can find out where anybody is by GPSing their phone.

ParticipantEverynight before I go to bed, I kneel down and thank God for my blessings, my family, and then for Days!!! :o)

Participantthey’re talking about Justin and Adrienne’s wedding/elopement.

ParticipantI know from watching Animal Planet that many times they don’t even set broken legs because they heal on their own, only if it’s a compound fracture. I’m sure Perry will heal up just fine and be good as new. He’s not really that old.
Dogs give you so much and ask nothing in return. I understand completely how you feel and I’ll let God know (not that He doesn’t already) that I’m really pulling for Perry AND for you.

Participantwhat did all these kids/people do BEFORE there were cell phones? I just don’t understand when it became so important to be able to be in touch with anyone immediately instead of waiting until you get home. But then, like I said, I guess I’m just an old fogie.

ParticipantI guess the next challenge will have to include all three.

ParticipantI have never liked that woman. And that’s not even a fair statement because I’ve never even watched her as Erica. But what I’ve seen of her on other shows, I just plainly do not like her. She appears to be extremely phony, especially when she was on DWTS.

ParticipantI can only hope. But that means that RealRafe should be returning soon. Anybody hear anything?

ParticipantI heard on the news last night when they were talking about these cancellations that maybe Oprah will pick up these soaps on her new OWN network. Now that would be something I’d vote for. I can’t help but think she’d get more ratings out of them than she will with most of her current programming. There’s an awful lot of faithful viewers are here. The biggest problem is that we don’t watch the commercials.

ParticipantIt doesn’t do anything but be a phone. It’s one of those Jitterbugs, no texting, no camera, nothing (well, it DOES have voice dial but it usually gets the wrong person when I DO try to use it!).
The reason I got it is because of the large print on the screen. I can see it without having to put my glasses on. My kids keep bugging me to get a smart phone but, quite frankly, I just don’t need one. I very rarely use the one I have. I just don’t find that I have to talk to anyone that frequently.
The one thing I would like to have though is the GPS. That would save me a MULTITUDE of problems when I’m driving. :o) I have trouble because I can’t read the street signs unless I’m right on top of one. Ah…old age, it’s so fun.

ParticipantI use to think the same thing. My grandkids were getting all these electronic things and when they got a phone I thought it was pretty ridiculous. But then, I started thinking, am I just being an old fogie? I mean, this is the technology age after all and if the kids don’t keep up with everything going on, they’re going to be left behind. I agree with you though, do they really need to be texting at that age. Heck, they can hardly spell yet.

Participantthey don’t know how far away they are, he thinks they walked to where they are so thinking they are probably close by. Besides, he did say they would come and get them.

ParticipantI had to laugh, right after Rafe kissed her, her lipstick was all gone but in the next shot it was back on. Great lipstick ya got there, Nicole!

ParticipantBut there could be somewhat of a placebo effect taking place also. ‘Nother words, once she took the pills, she knew she would get some relief and that in itself calmed her down. Don’t know, just trying to make excuses for our piss-poor writers!
I do know though that if you want pills to take immediate effect, put them under your tongue and let them melt. My hemotologist says if you want some quick energy, suck on a Lifesaver because the sugar goes into your system faster than if you "eat" some candy. I also learned that after my cardiac by-pass when I was having angina and had to put nitro-glycerin under my tongue. It worked almost immediately.

ParticipantAnd then we can watch him bounce!!!
