ParticipantEverybody else was all dressed up and he’s just in a t-shirt, and a white one at that. At least he could have worn a colored.

ParticipantIn fact, I’m wondering if EJ isn’t going to become the new patriarch of the show. They sure seemed to be trying to tell us something, holding up that king like they did. Heck, I’d be happy if they made EJ and Nicole the main characters going forth. They certainly have the talent.
I also wondered if this was a foretelling of Stefano leaving the show. Has anybody heard anything? Although nobody ever seems to leave this show (except for Mickey) willingly.

ParticipantI thought it was too much. I was getting bored with the scenes in the Horton house. And I was really surprised to see flashbacks of Mac. We never see him. I think it’s because they have to pay his estate whenever they use his likeness but not the case with Frances.
I WAS liking the EJ/Stefano scene but they went too far with that one too. (So, I guess EJ went to Oxford…according to his t-shirt?) I hope this isn’t indicative of what the new writers are going to be putting out. Have you notice also how many scenes include everybody talking at once? I really don’t like that, yes, it’s realistic but too distracting for a TV show.
Something occured to me too. Do you realize that Bo and Hope have been married (on the show) longer than they have been married to their respective spouses in real life? Kind of strange, huh?

Participantbecause now it’s showing up on other sites. Strange, very strange.

Participantand she is a former member of The Pussycat Dolls. She was a season 10 contestant on DWTS which she won with Derek Hough. She is also a record producer so she probably actually has more qualifications than Paula, who is mainly just a choreographer.

Participant(in my MIL’s words) snatches her bald! Oh, how I’d love to see that!

Participantcan’t say I was impressed. It was 30 minutes before we saw any talent at all. They need to show fewer doofuses and more potential talent. And the judges comments are too contrived. It’s almost like they have a menu of responses they pick from.
I will say the guy that sung the Elvis song was great. Not that his singing was so good but he was pure entertainment. Paula told him to drop the Michael Jackson moves but I thought that was the best part of him. He moved BETTER than Jackson.
Maybe once they get through all the auditions it’ll be better. I know it was a huge hit in Great Britian.

ParticipantIt was the older women who went "beserk" last week. Russell’s nephew wanted them to vote off Michaela because he was trying to "stay true to his wife" and she was tempting him. Can you believe that? But Coach convinced everybody else to vote the other women off because she wasn’t contributing much to the tribe.
So now there’s two crack-pots on Redemption Island. It’ll be interesting to see their "duel."

Participantdid a very good job though. The rest of it was pretty cheesy but I thought his performace was quite good. I can’t believe how many times they said, "We’re not going to hurt you, man!" OMG
BTW, the scenes between EJ and Nicole are just amazing. They have GOT to put these two together. Sparks fly all over the place when they’re together. I just wish Nicole hadn’t been so cold to him when they were talking. You could see he was really concerned about her. Man, I would have grabbed him and never let him go. Look out, John, somebody is trying to take your #1 spot in my heart.

Participantwould not spend so much money on all that food. Did you see the plates at Chez Rouge? They looked like very good meals. And that hot fudge sundae made my mouth drool. DOOL made me drool!

Participantthe Drop Dead Gorgeous finale this coming week. (Don’t know what night it’s on.)

Participantand thought it was pretty good. We had read another one (can’t remember the name now) about the Japanese internments and it was really horrible what they did to those people. They lost practically all their worldly possessions (including property) and were thrown into horrible holding facilities.
Read Shanghaii Girls too and loved it. I thought it was horrible when the mother was raped. Another case of Asian people coming to America less than humanely.
I think I mentioned before The Queen of Palmyra. That was very good. We’ve read The Hunger Games and most of the club liked it, me, not so much.

Participantthough I thought Nancy Grace would go first. Although I really admire JR’s attitude and personality and think he’s obviously an amazing human, I’m really rooting for David Arquette. It was touching that, despite their separation, his wife was there to cheer him on. Also that he is successfully on the wagon and maybe this can influence and help him out to stay there. Not only that, I think he’s cute too and has a great sense of humor.
And I still think poor Chaz is going to remain the token ratings getter. They always put those people on last and I don’t think he danced as well as the judges claimed. I have a lot of sympathy for him though because of all the controversy he has had to endure. It’s funny but, to me, I don’t think of him as anything but a man now and I love how well the cast is treating him as such.
I hope Carson stays a while too because, in spite of his dancing ability, the guy is a real hoot and I love watching him.

ParticipantGus had one line that touched me when he said he couldn’t go to jail because who would take care of "Madam." That really showed his true dedication to her.
