Stupid DVR.  Only IT decides what it wants to record.  And this is my third one.  I think the next time I’m going to tell them I DO NOT want a reconditioned one, give me a NEW one so I know it’s going to work.  This one is very temperamental.

I have always wondered what happened to his face.  Does anybody know?

And Michael is certainly coming out as the star on this show.  I can’t remember, did he finish in the final three last season?  I hated to see April go home last night, I thought the "cupcake" dress was much worse than her’s.  I sometimes don’t care much for her personality but still liked seeing her creations.

when I commented about the actors.  I can see where the woman was probably actually a vet but I still think the others were actors.  Not that it makes any difference.  The woman did an excellent job for not being a professional.

It was very nicely done and I loved how they gave the tribute to the service people at the end.

Speaking of the end, how come no more previews?  I really liked those.

They don’t usually use people without their SAG card.  I can see occasionally using one for a PSA or something but other than that…probably not.

When I was still working, HR would probably have sent her home to change.  Come one, that’s barely something you’d wear out to a club, let alone the office.  I know the guys wouldn’t get anything done that day and probably spill their coffee triping over their tongues.

But really, girls (and Johnny…and any other guys out there), we have to remember this is a soap opera and they are trying to wow us with their clothing selections.  Personally, I like seeing all the pretty, cool, unusual, and even ridiculous and outlandish stuff they wear.  I mean, look at all the fodder we have to post about from Kate alone.

I remember a long time ago Jennifer had on a pink/black/white plaid skirt and a pink wool blazer with a white turtleneck.  I totally fell in love with that outfit so much I went out and bought fabric to make one just like it.  (And BOY, did I have a hard time finding that pink plaid!!!)  I LOVED that outfit.

As an aside, who watches Project Runway?  I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being able to visit Mood to see their selection of fabrics and stuff.  OMG!  They have EVERYTHING!!!  I’d be a kid in a candy store.  Except now that I’m retired, I don’t sew much anymore.

There’s others but I’ll spare everyone my little nits.  Glad I’m not the only one.

I actually liked the dress.  However, I agree, it’s not your typical business type attire.  But, in Kate and Madison’s defense, they ARE in the fashion industry and those women tend to dress much differently (remember The Devil Wears Prada?) than your typical corporate type so I can give them a pass on that.

But Abby’s top?  And the top Carrie just happened to be wearing when it was so hot?  I’m sure!!!  But I guess it’s a good thing she DID have that on or she would have had to strip to her bra.  That scene was so hokey it made me ill.

how much more of this garbage they are going to force down my throat before I quit watching entirely.  And trust me on this, I am the absolute LAST fan willing to give up on this show so when I leave, you will know they can’t possibly sink any lower.

since everybody but Kelly has been associated with Days, to bring in another Days actor.  But they’d probably attract a larger audience if they used someone from another soap.  Maybe if they did like with Kirsten, Brandon and Farah and pick someone who had previously been on Days but then went to another soap.  That would kill two birds with one stone.  There’s certainly enough of them.

I really enjoyed that show.  I just wonder though if those same people can maintain the interest for another season or if they should bring in someone else too.  I wouldn’t care if they’d drop Kelly as I can’t stand her.

And do we really believe Brandon about Fary or is he just saying that to keep us believing in the reality of the situation?  I can’t imagine any guy putting up with that crap without striking back and telling her how obnoxious she is.  Or Nadia either.  Why would she let her mother continue trashing the man she loves like that?  It just doesn’t make sense to me.

they seem to think the ratings are high enough to sustain them more often.  I’m afraid they might be doing the same damage with DWTS.  Yet, I see it happening with most of the reality shows, especially on TLC.  The only one I’d like to see return sooner is Burn Notice.

I liked both Cook and Beemer as Shawn.  And I liked both Kirstin and Martha as Belle but I preferred Kristin as the younger Belle and Martha as the mother.  I really can’t picture Kirstin with a young daughter.

You know, I think sometimes writers (or producers, whomeover is responsible for stuff like this) really make a huge mistake when they create characters for a show that are so closely related to the main characters and then write them out.  It’s so very difficult to maintain credibility when important events occur and we don’t see them come back to town.  There are only so many excuses you can use.  I don’t know what the solution is but it could be made much better if they would at least refer to them more often.

A good example right now is Philip who is as close as Chicago yet doesn’t even come home for holidays.  How realistic is that?
