ParticipantThe gloves should have rubbed all the previous ones off. Also, is that the gun the shooter used? I think they just assumed that. Did they find the casing? You can only guess as to the caliber (until the autopsy) of the hole so they don’t even know whether or not Abe’s gun is the one who killed Stef.

Participantwhat is the purpose of bringing in this young cop? I know the SPD’s reasoning is because it involves Roman’s friends and relatives, but what are the writers doing it? That’s got to be instrumental in something coming. Is she on the Dimera payroll?

ParticipantLucas took Will’s gun away from him so he didn’t have any time to get a new one. I think maybe he went back to Stefano’s, found the gun laying there and picked it up. Voila! his fingerprints. Now whether he fired it is another thing.

Participantin the past someone asked the same questions. It appears that Renee has a somewhat poochy stomach.
And I don’t think she’s even married, not that that makes any difference but, I would doubt it at her age.

Participantwas Cameron Diaz in Something About Mary. Ewww….
And it looks to me that Kate got some new extentions. I don’t know anybody who’s hair grows THAT fast!
Speaking of hair, I think Joe needs to get a new hair piece. His doesn’t match his hair color anymore and it’s way too frizzy.

Participantall the shots that EJ fired when he was there. It can’t be that they haven’t found them yet because one totally shattered that vase.

Participantme pause too. I have to stop and think which one is correct for my current usage. We were told to take out the "you" and see which ("I" or "me") sounds right because it’s not always the same.
You say, "You can come with Jimmy and me." You wouldn’t say "You can come with I."
Or, you would say "Jimmy and I am going also" because "Me is going also would be wrong." Have I totally muddled this up? (Ending with a proposition…a no-no in itself but I’ve very guilty of doing that one. It reminds me of some brilliant mind (Einstein, Churchill, ?) who was corrected when he said something like, "That’s something I can’t put up with." So, he changed it to "That’s something up with which I will not put!" :o)
Another one from Bess Truman when a lady at a dinner party commented to her on how often Harry used the word "manure." She said, "Can’t you get Harry to use a word other than manure?" She replied, "My dear, it has taken me years to to get him to USE the word "manure"!

Participantuntil they started doing reruns for three years ago. I’m glad to know new ones are starting too. You can learn a lot from the show and they are pretty entertaining too.
I don’t think we are really getting what we see though. Chumlee is not as stupid as he appears. Every once in a while they’ll give us a glimpse of his knowledge.

ParticipantAssuming she was a beneficiary in his will, their marriage status would have no effect. You don’t need any kind of relationship to qualify as an heir. And, I’m pretty sure, Stefano hadn’t made a change yet, unless he got a two for one at the attorney store and did the will and the divorce at the same time. Not likely IMO.

Participantjobs and/or licenses require fingerprinting. Heck, being in the securities business, I’ve probably done it at least 10 times in my life. Also, all civil service jobs, teaching, banking, to get a passport, etc. That’s not surprising to me.
And they weren’t on file with the SPD, the FBI maintains a huge databank that allows the computer to search through it comparing different components (whorls, ridges, patterns) until it finds a match. Doesn’t take long now days. But I DO question how they got them all with so many being on there. The next person to pick up the gun would have smudged the previous person’s prints. And, I can’t buy the stupidity of every one of them. They’re there to commit a serious crime yet leave their prints on a gun right there at the scene. OMG!
And, as for the SPD, they might as well disband the whole organization because it seems like the media in Salem have more information on crimes than THEY do.

ParticipantFirst, that he was so certain none of them had the intestinal fortitude to kill him, he had to egg them on until they realized it themselves, also giving him the satisfaction of rubbing their noses in their lack of guts.
Second, that he was so despondent about Lexie and it being his fault she was dying, they would be putting him out of his misery so he didn’t have to do it himself. I’m glad Lexie brought up the suicide possibility. I think that would have given him some redemption in Lexie’s eyes.
As for the joy at the end, it was because he successfully "played" each and every one of them making HIM the winner. I almost got the feeling he was expecting what came next and he was going to die with a drink in his hand (as a diabetic, that would have caused him quite a big problem in itself), listening to his beloved music.
As for the opera music being played during a dramatic scene, that has been soooo overdone. The first one that comes to mind is Tom Hanks in Philadelphia. Another was a very powerful documentary about when Saddam Hussein set fires to all those oil wells in Kuwait. That one even won an Oscar.

Participantwhat you’re questioning here. As close as the shooter was, it bullet WOULD go through the chair and Stefano. I thought that part was very realistic. What I couldn’t buy though is why he was still sitting up straing. At the very least, his head should have slumped over, it wasn’t even touching the chair.
At first I questioned the lack of blood until I realized the bullet must have hit his heart and he died instantly so it stopped pumping blood out the wound.
I’m convinced it’s not Lexie either…she was too calm. I don’t have any clues but my gut tells me it was EJ. (Too bad he told Lexie he wasn’t Stefano’s son, he could have inherited everything.)
Although, I thought the gloved hand looked like a woman’s. Sheesh, we went through this same thing before when Tony (was it, can’t remember now) was killing everybody and they went to whatever that place was called…Melaswen??? Trying to guess who’s hand we were seeing.
I knew it was Abe’s gun because they showed him putting it down and then leaving without it. No surprise there.

ParticipantI read their Days of Our Lives book and enjoyed it. I thought it was well written.

Participantcouple of episodes but couldn’t get into it. I like that kind of stuff when someone has died and…whatever. I’m looking forward to Saving Hope (I think that’s the name) this season because that looks good.
What is the premise of Franklin and Bash. Maybe I’ll watch that.

Participantlung cancer returning. My sister started with colon cancer, then it went to her lungs, then finally her liver. A friend from church a long time ago, never smoked a cigarette in her life, got it, "cured" and got it again. Also, a friend back in California went through the same thing.
Hey, Pammy, I’m coming to California (Mill Valley) on June 12th; my twin g.daughters are graduating from the U. of Santa Clara. Should I bring shorts or long pants? I don’t remember what the weather is like in June. I DO remember that Mill Valley is much like SF though with the fog.
