Participantin real life but, as they’ve shown us time and again, this ain’t real life lady.
It’s true misery loves company. When I got divorced (separated, actually), a couple of close friends of ours did also. He and I started hanging around together and became quite close. He was extremely helpful to me in getting through the first few traumatic months of it and I believe I helped him also. It kind of died out once we were over the worst part, but I’ll always be grateful for him being there for me. He provided a role that my girlfriends just couldn’t.
But I still don’t want to see them together. Let them console each other as much as they want…Brady is very good at that…but then move on.

ParticipantI dropped something in the garbage can I had to fish out and all of a sudden when I bent over to get it, I actually felt it break. (Guess I must need some Boniva!!!)
Boy does it hurt. Doc says there’s nothing you can do for it but take it easy. I was already doing that for my back! What next?

Participantwithout Bo. I didn’t realize he was leaving because of a salary dispute until I read it last week. Boy, it must have been really instulting for him to leave after all these years. I guess TPTB must think nobody is irreplacable.

ParticipantNo way José. What’s wrong with Cameron? I haven’t read anything about him leaving.
And people criticize Dr. Dan and how many relationships he’s had. Just in the last couple of months Abby has outdone him.
I guess if Nicole won’t go back to EJ, I’d just as soon see Brady with her.

ParticipantI wish I had done that.
I sometimes have trouble remembering what happened last when a show has been gone for the summer. I’m going to start recording and keeping all season finales. Thanks for the idea.

Participantthat it’s a rare side effect. But I makes me wonder what I might have been up to. :o) Hope is was fun. I wish my dogs could talk.
I’ve had back trouble all my life (three surgeries) but after the final fusion in 1997, I rarely have this happen anymore. Old age, I guess. At least it gives me a good excuse now to lay around all day and read.

ParticipantI didn’t much care for her when she was first on the show and I didn’t even know who she was, other than a soap star. And then when she appeared on Dirty Soap, I liked her even less. I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is I don’t like but it’s just there. I remember she wasn’t very nice about it when John O’Hurley won the dance-off. But I thought he should have won in the first place.

Participantpass judgement on him DID read his biography. I know you weren’t referring to me because I passed no judgement, only expressed an opinion that I could understand their side of it. So you can straighten out your panties now. :o)

ParticipantI never did understand why they can’t use carts in tournaments. Probably put all the caddies out of business! :o)
But, again, did that golfer have an advantage because he didn’t use up his energy walking? I think a case can be made on both sides.

ParticipantThank you, I could not come up with that name.

ParticipantI’d have Sami go back to Rafe and Nicole to EJ. After all, she IS going to have is baby (hopefully!!!) so it would be nice if they could end up together. And, at least the way they were written, they DO love each other. But, alas, I will never be in charge.

Participantare they including Bristol and Carson? The rest of them did very well, including many winners (six of them, I believe), but those two have two wooden legs! And the only thing I can say about Kirstie is that she lost a lot of weight while on. She wasn’t that good a dancer.
I’m looking forward to see Hilio and Gilles again! Woo-hoo!!!

Participantbecause I tend to agree and don’t think ignorance has anything to do with it. Why isn’t he entered in the other Olympics for, and I don’t want to use this word but I don’t know what the correct one is, "handicapped" athletes? Special Olympics? I have seen races involving people wearing prosthetics which makes for a more level playing field.
I don’t know if it does or doesn’t give him an edge but I can understand how some might think it could. Especially if he comes in first. And, if he didn’t think he could win, why would he even enter? Lots of questions there.

ParticipantI think these days it would be extremely difficult to be using performance enhancing drugs at the Olympics. They are so thoroughly tested that, unless China has come up with some new drug that escapes the tests, it would certainly be discovered. She passed the drug test. Phelps coach, Bob Bowman, said he didn’t think her time for the 400 was impossible.
From what I’ve read, they are tested randomly before they go and again after winning. I don’t know if this is for every event but it certainly is for the ones that require strength or endurance (which pretty much covers everything). This year Olympic sponsor GlaxonSmithKline will do over 4500 tests in their near-by lab.

Participantkill Jack. He keeps leaving and coming back so much it’s getting hard to believe all his stories about where he was…almost as bad as Stefano. That way he’ll be gone permanently.
But I wonder if they’re going to put Dan and Jen back together again since Madison is also leaving. (Maybe they’ll kill her in the explosion too.) I would feel bad for Brady but then, maybe with Madison gone, he’ll go back to Nicole. OMG, what a jigsaw puzzle Salem relationships are.
