at 11:30 and when I got up I saw the 8th one stillborn.  It was strange because the mom didn’t want to have anything to do with it.  She wouldn’t clean it or anything.  I guess they know not to bother.  I read that when they are in labor a long time it gets more and more dangerous for the last puppies.

because there were so many people around during the birth (it took 12 hours from the first one to the last) but this lady had previously assisted in the birth of 51 Great Dane puppies so I’m sure she knew what she was doing.

I guess you’ve read up on what to do.  The only conflicting information I found was that some "experts" allow the mother to eat the afterbirth and others say she shouldn’t.  Apparently there is a lot of nutrition in it so it makes sense to me to do it.

Just watch the pups to make sure they don’t get rolled over on when the next one is coming because I understand the mother doesn’t pay a lot of attention when the next one is coming out.

Good luck, I hope you have all healthy little fur babies.

I was watching the puppies being born but I could hear it on the TV so I had to run quick and turn it off but not before I knew that Chris was gone.  I missed four shows last night watching those darn puppies.  She had 8 but the last one was stillborn.

but doesn’t that just show us what a good actor James is?  I once saw an interview with Joan Collins when she was on Dynasty (is that the right show? or Dallas?) and she said how much she enjoyed being the bitch everybody could hate.  She said, but the downside was that many of the fans hated her personally because they thought that was the way she was in real life.

James must get the same thing otherwise why else would so many people here dislike him so?  He really knows how to grind into our senses and make him appear as dispicable as possible.  I think that’s one reason I continue to like him because he is so successful in putting across the character.  In know IRL he’s a bit egotistical but I’m sure he’s nothing like EJ whatsoever.

Brady knew all about her lies when she lost her other baby and still eventually ended up having a relationship with her so he knew what she was all about.

Haven’t you even known one of those women who can just twist men around their fingers and you can’t figure out why in the heck or how?  I used to rent a room to a 20-something young girl and couldn’t believe what she put guys through.  Before she would even consider going out with them they’d have to send her flowers and candy.  Then, sometimes she would, sometimes she wouldn’t.  I don’t know what she had because I sure couldn’t see it but she sure had a lot of them on a string.

Anyway, I think that’s Nicole.  She just has something the guys want and I don’t mean just sex.  Look how loyal Rafe is to her.  And Daniel too, even though they are no longer "together," he was willing to go to Utah to protect her.  I don’t know…go figure!

But what’s really strange is that, despite all her scheming and manipulation, we all still like her.  I guess that’s a testament to her good acting.

She still hasn’t had her puppies.  She’s definitely ready though, she’s licking, tearing up the blankets, trying to get comfortable.  Poor thing, she is SO huge.

Except that my Jewish friends insist it ISN’T a race or a nationality, but I agree, it’s a culture.

that he cared more for Carrie but that he trusted her more than Sami.  And if Sami were truthful with herself, she’d have to agree that she’s never been very trustworthy.

Anyway, I find this whole thing total and utter nonsense.  I think in the real world Sami would have been happy to find out that Rafe wasn’t the father instead of going off on him because he hadn’t told her.

and they were all praising her on what an excellent job she had done.  Elizabeth (the only conservative in the bunch) didn’t say anything, just shook her hand.  Yet I saw a guest on one of the political pundit’s show (don’t know who he was but he was from some "independent organization") said she was probably the worst moderator ever.  (He was also the one who said that was probably the end of debates in the town hall format.)  She interrupted Romney something like 28 times and Obama 17 and even corroborated one of Obama’s statements.  And, yeah, I don’t think she hid which way she leans very well.

But most of the media IS liberal anyway.  It used to be they remained very impartial and it was anathama to let your political views be known on air or in print but it seems now days to be perfectly acceptable.  I used to really like Tom Brokaw before he started exhibiting his liberalism, but now, not so much.

about my first husband and we’ve been divorced for 36 years and it usually with no provocation.  Sometimes they are good dreams, sometimes bad.

Do we know where Sonny falls in the birth order?  If he’s the oldest he might remember Kristen but probably not too much about her.  BTW, where are Justin and Adrienne’s other three kids.  They never even mention them.  Angelica’s is probably with her but what about the twins?

that Rafe is so torn up over the baby’s death.  He was acting like it WAS his baby and, even then, a little extreme for a man in his situation to be so emotional.

As for the sex, I think men usually find comfort in sex but women usually don’t.  Just the male animal.  Personally, that would be the last thing I’d be thinking of while I’m greiving.  But then, Sami is doing her best to comfort him.

that this will probably be the end of town hall debates because they just don’t product the results they had hoped for.  Okay by me.

I believe that Candy selected the questions so I guess we can blame her.

And I also agree with you, anybody that selects their president based on women’s body issues probably shouldn’t be voting at all.  I do not agree with my preferred party’s stand on them but am with them on most everything else.  I think it’s kind of like being Catholic (I’m not) and still using birth control.  You have to go with what you believe is right.

And, speaking of religious affiliations (and I hope I don’t offend anyone here), there was also an article in the paper today where some party (forgot which one) held a "town hall meeting" in South Florida appealing to Jewish voters.  I want to know when is the one for Lutherans?  Or Baptists?  Or Methodists?

It’s always going to be a popularity contest with who has the biggest fan base winning.  And I think it’s very strange that we never see or hear a count of the fans’ votes.  I really hate to say it but I now believe that the whole thing is in the hands of the producers.

that I really liked EJ and Sami together at the beginning when they were doing the Santo/Colleen thing but now I don’t want to see them together at all, for any reason.  I still think he belongs with Nicole.  That’s really the only person I can accept with him and I thought he really did love her…but, now, I guess not so much.

they needed another doctor.  They cut someone’s salary to the point they leave the show yet hire superfulous characters which appear to have no purpose.

Which reminds me…how come we haven’t seen Daniel’s hands shaking any more.  Was he miraculously cured?  Funny what memories these writers have, both old AND new.
