Participantneither does anybody else. They’re just playing it day by day.

Participantso that would be a bummer. I don’t always do cookies though. Just once in a while as I hate re-entering my password so many places. Living alone I really don’t have to worry about someone else accessing my sites. Besides, there really isn’t anything I would care about anyway. No porn or nuttin’ like that. :o)
But, as I said it’s okay now. Just learning how to use this stuff. I’ve never had an Apple before and am finding things different from Microsoft.

Participantfrom a knife. Not so much a bullet. Not that either one is better than the other, they both can make you dead.
This has sadly become a state of reality in our world. When people put poison in Tylenol, needles and razor blades in childrens Halloween candy, abduct and sexually or physically abuse children, discriminately beat up homeless and old people, drive-by shootings… The list goes on. We will never go back to the days of innocence.
When I visited my high school in Illinois for our 50th class reunion, I was shocked to see metal detectors at the doors. This used to be a quiet middle-class neighborhood where we left our doors unlocked and the keys in the car. What in the world has happened?

ParticipantShould we really have to live that way? I’m not ready to live in a police state yet.
The thing that I find so disgusting is how the media dwells on this, giving notoriety to the sicko who did this. All it does is encourages others to do it again so they can get all the attention. Can you imagine how the parents of these kids feel to see this crap continuously flashed on TV and all the rest of the media? If people wouldn’t watch it or read about it, maybe they’d stop.
Personally, I will not read or watching any of it. Just my personal opinion.

Participantaccept that too. While I liked Dan and Jen before, they are now wearing on my last nerve. It is getting downright sickening.

ParticipantDays has always done well with the Soap Opera Awards (used to frequently sweep them) but has, for years, been consistently snubbed by the Daytime Emmys. I can’t even remember what the reason for it was anymore but I thought with so few soaps left that would surely change, but, nope, they don’t even get nominations, let alone awards.
Without writing a terribly long post, IMO, there are good things these writers are doing. They have come up with some interesting stories, they’re not letting things drag out forever, I think the directing has been great as are costumes, make-up, hair, set decoration, lighting, and all the other stuff.
What I’m having a problem with is the boring dialogue being thrown at us day after day. It pretty much consists of us watching two people consulting, consoling or chastizing each other. AND, rehashing the same lines over and over, e.g. Daniel/Jen/Maggie and Sami/EJ/Rafe and John/Marlena/Kristin. And now it’s starting with Gabby/Will/Nick.

ParticipantFor some reason it stopped and I can access both. Technology!!!

ParticipantWhat we are seeing right now. If it wasn’t for the acting I’chuch this entire show right now.

Participantthe acting was amazing but I found the story a little boring. I couldn’t keep up with which side all the characters were on. I almost fell asleep just before the end.

Participantshe did go in the morning. In fact, I can recall hearing that Caroline was sometimes at mass. Probably just the larger churches to that.
Is their a shortage of priests or is the church trying to save money (I thought the Catholic church was extremely wealthy)? I don’t understand why they are combining parishes.

Participantgimme a break, how can anybody be so ghastly and overbearingly controlling? I can’t believe any girl wouldn’t want to plan her own wedding, not have someone else do it for her. Gabbi should have said something like, "I really appreciate you offering to do all this for us but Nick and I were thinking we’d like to do things ourselves.
And what girl wouldn’t be thrilled at having her wedding in a pub? OMG. That would be as bad as Sonny’s coffee shop? Heck, Horton Square would be better than either one of those.
And foisting Will on Nick as best man? Both Sami AND Caroline just made me cringe. And then to top everything off, Sami saying there’s something wrong here and I want to know what it is. OMG Chad used that same line. Talk about pushy and nosey to the max.
I’m sorry, there has been a smidgen of good writing here and there from this new team, but for the most part, it’s grossly boring or totally unwatchable.

ParticipantShe did such a good job with her crying when she lost the baby, they are probably going to be writing lots of sobbing scenes for her now.

ParticipantWhen I was a teen my friends mother used to go to mass every day. Is that just a thing of the past?

Participantwhy we’re not seeing the Dimera mansion anymore. I wonder if they’ve done away with it. EJ was there for a while but now I guess he’s back in his apartment.
