has been outlawed now too!  Talk about PCness…And yes,  I remember my dad flashing the porch lights on in the summer time about 930 or 1000ish (and it was safe!!!) when we were outside playing with our friends and we kids better darn well be running through the front door when he was done flashing the lights or else!  Thanks for that memory!

I have never watched Lost – (just never applealed to me) – but last night I was channel surfin’ and watched the last 10 – 15 minutes of it…

Did I see who I thought I saw on the show?  Two characters from "FlashForward" were sitting in the benches of the church…and then another character (woman) who plays on another current show – but the scence with her was just a second or two…and then it was over, so I couldn’t really be sure if it was her (and can’t remember the show’s name).

Then the local news dedicated 15 minutes of their news broadcast (oil spill, war, terrorism, bad economy was like not happening)…to "Lost"  – the newscasters showed about 20 "Lost" parties going on at bars, peoples homes – they even had a physics professor from University of Bezerkly in the Bay Area give a formula on his blackboard of the show…(which was even more confusing – so, would someone out there give me a in depth, understandable, quick synopis of this show?

Did I really miss something the last six years or was it all smoke and hype???

but if they (writer’s) keep her little squeeker cutiepie act up much longer – I will have to FF’d through her scenes as well…if they won’t let Sami grow up after 15 years – can you imagine how sugary sweet Melanie will be after a number of years – it makes my teeth ache!  I think Mel has potential if the writer’s would just write a decent script for her…they’ve run through the gamut of little vixen vamp to cutie cluelessness, let’s let her start at least to be a responsible adult in the future.

hip and happening (or whatever the kids are saying nowdays)…I’m not telling your age (but you’ve come out and said it here before) and you are just a very cool, hip lady!  Knowing Bret was in "Poison" – I am impressed…most folks your age (and you are only 14 years away from me) would not know "Poison" – heck, neither would folks in my generation!  Kudos to you for keeping up on keeping up!

you always hit the mark!  I think Will’s problems go much further back though than what he is facing with Sami at the Demeria’s today…way back.  At least, now he’s old enough to tell Sami that she is wrong and not doing the right thing by her children.  Nope, can’t say I have felt sorry for Sami for a very long time now.   Can’t even say I can cut her some slack now either…tooooooooooooo much water under the bridge.  This "girl" is a permanent girl and never going to grow up into a woman, inspite of some adverse set backs in her life…(and most of are her own making).  Day’s wouldn’t be Day’s without Sami, but let’s have a little change of pace writer’s – let her grow a Salem brain!

My first Day’s was June 23, 1991.  I have been fighting to stop every Monday through Friday for 19 years now.  I have tried to quit cold turkey, but the VCR and now DVR have been a monkey on my back enabling my Day’s fix…

I’ve tried to gradually wean myself off Day’s by reading Salem Place and other sites and not turning on the t.v. to watch the show…but I can’t help myself.

I have gone seven days at a time by flying to Maui for a change of scenery…but the VCR and DVR sit there blinking in the dark, knowing I’ll be back…

I’ve sat through endless story lines of he said, she said, they all said…I’ve sat through story lines like a woman becoming possessed, I’ve sat through a baby being kidnapped story.   I’ve sat through a woman who didn’t know who she thought she was who she was story.  I’ve sat through several story lines of he’s dead, but he’s not dead, but he died but there he is.  I’ve sat through she’s married to him, but loves the other guy who’s in love with this other girl, who’s in love with this other guy…

Oh help me………..I’ve said I’d quit a million, zillion times at the rediculousness of the story’s and here I am…if anyone can kick the Day’s habit, let me know!  But then, I don’t think I really want to – I’m kinda hoping that there is a room in heaven where there’s a flickering t.v. for an hour a day for eternity….heh! I TOLD you I was addicted!  It’s just not a bad habit with me.

in my formative years (second through seventh grade) – now don’t feel sorry for me – I think it was the best thing that ever happened not sitting in front of the t.v. for three hours a night.

Dad was military and we traveled all over the world – so no t.v. (not until mid-70’s when we got to see reruns of "Mash" or "Gunsmoke" on the ‘Armed Forces Network’…but earlier, if you watched t.v. in the late 60’s and 70’s overseas – you cannot appreciate how boring the other countries  t.v. shows were then…opera, ballet, puppet shows (they WERE boring), and endless talk (and not the Ophra or O’Reilly kind).

So for entertainment for all of the military brat kids was the library, playing with friends, riding bikes, summer camp, art classes on base, and on the weekend nights playing cards with the family – my parents taught me Canasta, Blackjack, Poker, Hearts, Spades, etc…we kids also played War and Old Maid card games too… Knowing how to play card games has always been a way to break the ice with strangers and make friends.

I’m older!  But everyone in Salem seems to have short term memory loss…

I’d just like Sami to be without a man for awhile and grow the heck up!  Yeah, that’ll happen, when pigs fly!

extras, (nurses, etc.) and two or three of the interns/residents from the other hospital – I lost track of the body count and was deviding my time with one eye on the show and one eye on a project I’m doing.  I have it on DVR and will probably go through it  again this weekend to see – I can’t figure out why Merdith threw away the pregnancy test – I missed that part.

I was going to say that I’m in the "I hate Nicole" club in a post but I figured I’d be in the minority and get slammed for it.  Nicole is an evil "w"itch – I can find no redeeming social or humane qualities in her to ever think that she would be a decent person.  She’s been a money grubbing – well, enough said.  I’m tired of her and her schemes.  At least Hope was good at one time and is going through a mental crisis and that is a twist on her character that makes it interesting…Nicole is consistent in her evilness schemes and imoral plottings.

every time she put a wallet in the box and how she was "sorry".  She is going to get Bo, which is why she’s doing the muggings I think.  She is one p.o.’d lady.
