in love with Victor…I think he’s a handsome older (not so much older than me) gentleman and he says what he means and he doesn’t mince words – the lines he’s been given lately are in a word "priceless".

I am an avid fan of Mr. Beck – so I guess that counts me as a loon – however, I have learned more about American history in watching his show than I was ever taught in high school and in college (and history was my minor).

Yes, he’s a bit flamboyant and theatrical in his show; it is television after all.  If he droned on like some of my professors did at a 2:00 p.m. class it would be a definate snooze fest and he wouldn’t have the enormous ratings that his show does have.

That being said, if you listen to his facts and figures, (and I don’t just take his word for it, as I said I studied history for four years and know how to look information up for myself and I voracioualy read books), he is correct on his points.

Daughtry was until I saw the group recently perform on AI show and then I went and investigated their music on the web.  They are wonderful.  Crystal – I’ve liked since the begining – she will go far.  I am sorry also to hear that her and her boyfriend split up.  He wanted small town life without all the hoopla that came along with the fame for Crystal, she wanted to have a singing career.  Maybe that’s why she looked so sad and stoic the last few shows.   Think maybe the old Stones line is true "You can’t always get what you want , And if you try sometime you find, You get what you need."

current…then in the next day or the next week’s show I want to see a quid pro quo line said by one of the characters about Chris Matthews or Cokie Roberts in a flippent or derogatory line.

This is NBC and it’s known for it’s bias against the right. It’s their way of covert indoctrination by sneaking in these little jabs in their own blatant way.

However, if it is just as you said just a way to keep the show current, then I’d like the writer’s to be fair to both ends of the aisle.  Otherwise, I’d just as soon have them keep politics totally out of the mix, it’s not why I watch the show.

that Day’s would be preempted today – I’ve got to go check my DVR to see if show is being broadcast at 3:00 a.m. like the local NBC channel usually does because they get so many phone calls about the show being preempted for every speech given – Day’s comes on at 1:00 p.m. here which  I wish they’d move the show to 10:00 a.m. or such anything but 1:00 p.m.!!!

So glad to hear from ya – how are you doing?  You are still in my prayers and hope you are doing well.  Please post more often if you can and feel up to it – we all miss ya!

I heard on news that they are predicting since Simon’s gone – viewership (even if they get Paula) is going from 30 million to 10 million (even though 10 million is a great number for any show)…but I think the show will only be on a couple more years and then they’ll move on to the next big thing on t.v. whatever that maybe…

computer to watch my show.  Sounds like a nightmare with AD – go to Better Business Bureau and report them…companies don’t like their ratings lowered by BBB.  Good luck!

I was considering getting it because it seems like Day’s is preempted all the time by news items at least once a week here (1:00 p.m.) and I think tomorrow it will be again too…SoapNet was always a way to catch up later on in the evening – (I did have SoapNet a number of years ago)…the reason they said it was being taken off is because we can all watch our soap on the web.
