Kim in the last 19+ years that I’ve been watching has been gone awhile with the exception of what you mentioned when she returned for Shawn’s funeral, acting has changed on the show a lot. It used to be so much more over the top instead of normal conversation.
I like more talking and conversational interaction between the Salem folks now, more normal. It’s more like every day conversation between real people, (with the EXCEPTION of Chloe, Daniel and Carly of course – that same conversation has been going on for weeks now).
There used to be a lot more action scenes – Hope hanging over a vat of acid, Marlena levitating in the air with her possession, Tony and the tiger, John trying to escape Stefano, Bo sailing the Fancy Face…we haven’t seen anything like those in quiet awhile, unless you count Chloe falling down an elevator shaft and not mussing her hair when she fell…
Guess we’ll never get the both of best worlds, action, drama and good dialog…but I did say I’ve been here for 19+ years so there must be something there…when I figure out what it is…I’ll let ya know.
I am DVRing "John Adams" series this evening (they are rebroadcasting from a couple of years ago). I think that if the founding fathers and the first American’s woke up and saw the country that they gave everything for today, they’d all say I want to go back to sleep. We need to wake up America before it’s too late and we turn into a dictatorship at midnight, and right now it’s about "11:30 p.m."
and it’s just going to get worse, wait until we get Cap and Trade (fondly known as Cap and Tax) and then wait until Jan. and the tax cuts go away…I heard we’re all going to be paying 33% MORE on what we earn – don’t know about every one else but that’s really going to hurt! Oh the pain! The pain!
it’s going to be Chloe and Phillips child – not Daniel’s. The baby is born with a rare disease that needs only a siblings DNA blood, kidney, bone marrow, (insert your favorite part here) that will cure it. That is why they are now mentioning Phillips bio kid now so they can bring him back. The adoptive parents will have died in a car crash or some such thing…but the kid, (Tyler) is still underage so Phillip will have to take him back to raise as a Keriakis (sp)… Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, now where have I heard a simular story like that done several times before over the years????
they were so much in the "throes of passion" (or stupidity), that if they’d taken the time to think about BC in any way shape or form, they could have thought – we shouldn’t do this…so no, I don’t think Chloe told the truth to Carly.
you can have things like that done in a nano-second and fly to Hong Kong in 1 hour…and get pregger’s when ten different doctor’s have told you that you cannot get preg. We suspend reality in Salem at least three times a day…sometimes four.
that the women in Salem always find out they are preggers from a doctor…never a home pregnancy test, (at least not in a while have I seen them use one). And why was Chloe tested for being pregnant anyway when she fell into an elevator shaft? The hospital sure didn’t test me when I went in for an MVA.
