Participantlittle fellow looks like she could have baked him for just three months and he would have come out the right size!

Participantone of the guys win it (or Kelly
– than those three -itches. I don’t remember any of the first season really other than the gay guy who walked on the beach naked won (if memory serves) and then he lost it all due to not paying his taxes and I heard he is broker than he was going into the show.
A million dollars isn’t that much in this day and age at all. I mean we’d all love to have it but it’s just not a lot of money after paying all the taxes, you figure the government’s going to get at the very least one half of the winnings if not more.
I thought they all just battled down to the last person standing with the challenges – more interesting to me than to a jury picking one (that could be rigged for votes I’ll give you $10,000 a piece for your vote)…
I knew a guy who was 30 years retired military – he was 80 years old widower, no kids (brother had family) and living in a sort of old hotel type situation with a bunch of other old guys, he won 8 million in Cal. Lottery. in 1986 but with the feds and state government getting over one half of it- darn taxes. It still left him with a chunk more than he had but he passed away just shy of 84 and had a heck of a good time for three years but he still lived like he had thirty more years – frugally – gave to his brother, built himself a small house on his brother’s land, smoked his cigars, and he did take his brothers family to German twice – since the sis-in-law was from there, so good for him enjoying his last years.

Participantabout customer service. DVR is the only way to watch Days or any t.v. for that matter. I can watch the show after it’s shown at 1:00 p.m. PST and then watch later and ff thru commericals (except for the cute guys or doggie commercials). If hubby is into sports – instant replay right then and there! DVR is great.

ParticipantSalem about telling (and you know they will) – what Stephanie already said was very "telling" and Mel can’t turn around in a small closet without being wishy-washy and changing her decisions.
As for Chloe and the blood and stuff…I kept thinking is Daniel sitting in it too? And her blue dress…ick! Cold and wet. And Melanie had those long purple sleeves that hung to her fingers…. The baby was really big in two scenes and when Phillip handed the baby back to Daniel, it was a little tiny bitty thing.
8 months old prem. baby’s I’ve heard sometimes have a more difficult time than younger premies…and how many days was it between Chloe sleeping with Phillip and Dan? Was that why the baby was premature? Or just because they had to have Mel deliver it to have her shut the heck up about it?
The way Melanie was first acting when she realized Chloe was in labor, I was waiting at first for Mel (super front of the class nurse) to say, "Oh Miss Chloe, Oh MISS Chloe, I dunno nothin’ ’bout birthin’ babies"…
And I don’t like the name Parker – all little kids get their name shortened pretty much on the play ground or later in life, Daniel – Dan, Melanie – Mel, Phillip – Phil, Margaret (Maggie) – Mag, Jennifer – Jen, Barbara – Babs, what’s it going to be with Parker – Park??? ;( bleah!

Participantof Maggie and Victor for all the reasons you said!
For number 2, how many times has Sami walked down the aisle in a fancy-smanchy wedding dress already…ho-hum… Especially, when we know Rafe and Sami aren’t going to last. How many times are the Salemites going to kick out bucks once again for a wedding present – how many toasters does Sami need even with four children? If Sami had any class (which she doesn’t), she would, (if she ablsolutely has to marry Rafe) go down to the JotP on a Thursday afternoon with just the court clerk as a witness. Then go to the pub to tell everyone and buy them a drink to celebrate – five or six times failure to be going down the aisle is a lifestyle not a marriage.
#3 – ditto again!!!! Please let Jennifer bring some new SL’s and blood to stagnationville (i.e. Salem).
#4 – It’s certainly a thrill-ride between those two; we know for a fact the writers are never going to let EJ / Sami come to grips with the family or themselves.
#5 – when Stephano finds out he has another son, the fireworks are going to be good for awhile, Kate is going to have to watch her keister, and EJ will have another thing to rant about. Chad has already show the famous DeMira temper many times, I just hope that he tones it down for our sakes – kid’s gotta right to be angry right now but a little bit goes a long way.
#6 – I heard (somewhere – here at SP???) that the Christmas show is going to be on the 27th? If so, that is really DUMB writers…if it can’t be on Christmas day which is fine by me – at least have the Salemites celebrating before the 25th of December and hanging the ornaments and the Christmas story being read…afterwards is so LAME!

Participantvery first season and if they had a jury on way back then, I don’t remember. What do they do? I think Survivor is like a game of chess, but some of the pawns are to sickening to watch – Marty gone is OK by me. NanaNO or whatever her name is needs to go – can’t stand her. Brenda is to cocky and sure of herself, and some of the guys should have stayed on their surf boards or tractors. Benry, Kelly B and Sash pretty much are hiding in plain sight waiting for the next kill. Dan I’m not even going to talk about.

Participantthis post I agree with 100% and the rest of you 99 3/4% – so there’s not much more for me to add except True! So True!!!

Participantthe bed and bounce up…no love scene that I want to watch from them. Stephanie is like a praying mantis – devouring poor Nathan.

ParticipantI swear I’m loosing what little mind I had left sometimes…either that or too just busy with things to remember what day it is, if I don’t have to go to town or write a check or pay attention to a date and I should have known what day it was in the first place, especially this week, because it’s Veteran’s Day tomorrow – thank you all Vet’s BTW! (and Thursday is my mother’s 84th BD)…No wonder I missed "last night’s show".

Participantare a lot of shows on "On Demand" I wouldn’t watch with a ten-foot pole (‘Jersey Housefraus on crack’ or what ever the show is called) but then that’s just my tastes – different strokes. Sigh. 200 channels (or however many there are) and not a darned thing worth watching sometimes…

Participantsaying to Melanie every time she opens her mouth about "I’m gonnnnnnnna tellllllllllll, I’mmmmmm gonnnnnna tellllllllll" – she reminds me of a three year old. For awhile there, I really thought she was going to come around. But she’s now on my Stephanie, Chloe, Sami list.

Participantis much the same – a popularity contest, I know Simon was PO’d and surprised that the one guy he’d been for didn’t win.
