Participantanything about Halloween at all. Wonder what Thanksgiving is going to be…Hope may get turkey at the jail…but I’ve never seen Sami have any family thanks for her children at all as long as she’s had children.

Participanthave a say so as to her Mother to running for office, but Bristol didn’t ask for any of it, other than to be a contestant on this dancing show. Now in the media today – it is character assassination.
If people are voting for her, well, that is how the show is set up. It was never based on the best of the best. American Idol is the same way.
DWTS is garnering HUGE ratings for their advertisers – and that is the name of the game folks. The advertising money. Plain and simple. The public has 50% and the judges have a 50% say so in winners. The leftiest are now blaming the T.E.A. party for a television show???? Does the madness ever end?
Come on – they (the left) set it up this way – ever heard of affirmative action? It’s not who is the best qualified, who got the best grades, or really worked to get into a great college or get a great job – it’s who "didn’t get a fair shake" that gets into college, gets the good jobs, promotions, etc. Right or wrong it was the left who set this system up. Now that their game is being played by their rules – and they don’t like it!
It is the SAME as the 2008 election – winners and loosers by voting by popularity. It’s the American way. It has nothing to do with who’s the best, who is the smartest, who is the candidate who can run the country according to the Constitution of the United States (or dance). It’s a popularity contest. It’s a dance contest. Why do you think that kids aren’t allowed to play dodgeball on the playground any more? Why are kids not being allowed fail in school when they can’t add 2 + 2 or spell by the time they graduate H.S.?
We used to be a country of winners and the greatest country on earth in the history of mankind. Because we were winners, smart, bright and the best of the best. Now there are popularity contests. Winners and loosers in life based on popularity.

ParticipantEJ is passionate – and he could love his children if he could just forget the past 35 years and his childhood and be re-programmed. (I love EJ but………………).

Participantcommercials eh???? And we thought we were sooooooooooooo slick! Now we not only have 15 minutes of commercials during a 1 hour show, we have an entire show of commercials.

Participantscene, not great but better in the last two or three months (with the exception of the rinse and repeat line to Chloe "I’m going to tell my dad", and in the next second, "No, I won’t tell him…" but I’ve got to agree with you Casey, now Mel’s taken a turn for the worst again.

ParticipantSo funny. At least on Everybody Loves Raymond – he just takes the Ginger Ale out and drinks it and the cereal boxes sit on top of the fridge – or Frank screams for "Funions" at Marie! Days "mini-commercials" were forced and in your face…mellow out Days! I can handle the product placement just not the LOOK at this "product".

Participantgoing to be another "I’m stupid Sami day" – I may skip today’s show and leave it somewhere in DVR Land until I can "prepare" myself for the inanity.

ParticipantI knew you’d be happy about Chef Forgeione – he is a great chef and has had some really innovative (sp?) creations! I like Chef Tsai – been catching his cooking shows off and on for years – I think he was exactly as you said "smug". Chef Tio – I would watch a show that she cooks on too. She was great with her receipes and not as "smug" as most of the guy Chef’s were. I’ve noticed most all of the male chefs have huge egos (not just on NIC but on many of the cooking shows it seems), some of the females also.

Participantgrow as a character? At least he acknowledged what we all see as her own worst enemy but Ken I believe, thinks that is just amazingly cute of her character – no matter that it drives the rest of us insane (for at least three of the last 15 years Sami’s been doing the same ol’ schtick).
I suppose we should really enjoy the next two years (perhaps three)…no matter how they write the story lines…given that 45 years is a big milestone and we should perhaps get ourselves all ready for the inevitable…
On the very bright side of the interview…he kind of did say that "MAYBE", "perhaps", "could be", "possibly" my beloved John and Marlena could return. Oh be still my heart!!!!!
And I so don’t agree with him (even though Ken gets the actual and official numbers), that it’s an 18-34 core group who watches Days…I think we are (core group) is just a tad wee bit older….

ParticipantI couldn’t find one thing to even slightly disagree with what you said. It has got to be the water in Salem…every one is going nutzo…
