seen the show today (or will by tonight) except for my friends in Hawaii and Guam – so it’s not a spoiler (not intentional anyway), I’m just speculating on how Rafe got the job.  Either that, or he was going to come up very rich some how and not have to work, just like every one else practically in Salem including Sami with all her kids over the years, (except for Lucas and EJ’s child support).

I could see the handwriting on the wall that he would eventually join the SPD, the second he quit the FBI job the first time, when he became a carpenter for all of two hours.  All those kids cost a lot of money to raise, with food, clothing, toys, college, etc.

I’m glad Rafe got a job, making it all the more believable, (since his savings from the single life and former FBI job must have run out by now), that he is taking care of Sami’s children, even if he did get the position handed to him on a sliver platter by Sami’s uncle.

(the Day’s writer’s) always do to the great characters because they write in one-demensional terms with no depth or soul into the Salem characters most of the times.  The writer’s hash out the same story lines over and over again – and we fans of the show just have to sit there and ride it out.  Look how many "who’s the daddy" and "triangle" stories we have gone through in just the last three years alone?  Louise Sorel is a great actress, she can deliver both comedy and pathos.  Yes, it’s too bad the writers don’t know how to write a good story line other than rinse and repeat constantly for the good actors they have on the show.

And I did mention that nepotism was involved – so yes, it would be Bo’s doing.  There’s not another dectective on the Salem PD force that can take care of the "prison" body parts thingy?  Not a one?

bang!  Good theory Majenco!  I can see Vivy doing that and pulling everyone into the same web together like the spider she is…rubbing her hands together saying "What a perrrrrrrrrrrfect revenge!"

as that – called "Pregnant at 70"  It was her first child, she lived in India or Pakistan (can’t remember) and it was a "faux-pas" not to be a mother so she got pregnant – with invitro (sp) at her age…and I thought the doctor with Octo-Mom should be jailed!  The show on the oldest woman was filmed a few years ago, so not sure if she is still alive to raise the child.

a gentleman about the kiss…Most guys (I think) who are married and got kissed like that wouldn’t know how to react (us ladies would wallop a guy across the mouth) but guys are a different species…so Phillip just bowed out as gracefully as the situation would allow.

AND…here’s my second take on the totally out of the blue scene…isn’t Vivian out to get Phillip too???  Wouldn’t that be a way for Vivy to get revenge on Phillip by messing with his marriage to Mel?  Just thinking out loud…so to speak.

especially with the writers potentially putting Jennifer as a love interest for him (new Doc Ben).  I think I have a problem when they introduce new characters but don’t use our old standby favorites  for long periods of time in story lines.

They are forcing once again another potentional love story here on us with Jennifer slamming Jack ever since she has returned to Salem.  Why does Jen even need a "love interest" now?  She’s just returning to the show.  Let her get Hope out of the hoosgow and solve the body parts "mystery".   They (writers) have dumped her kids basically – off to bording school or where ever.  If and when her kids show up they will be dropped into a story line as if they’ve been there for years.  OK – fine.  There is a history of Jennifer having children there and I suppose they need continuity into the next Days generation.

If they have to have some kind of doctor story line – they’ve got Lexie who they haven’t used except as a "fluff" piece SL for quite awhile now.  She just shows up and yells "stat!".   And they, (writers) have doctor Dan also that they could have utilized in a story about stolen body parts in some fashion because let’s face it, how much longer are they going to milk is he the daddy, is he not the daddy?

I really don’t care for the jail SL at all, except they had to do something with Hope now that they’ve written her into a corner and Bo has once again got to ride in on his horse and rescue her.   Anyone wanna take bets on after they get back together – how long before the next story line tears them apart again?  Two years? 18 months?

closer together because Dan walked in on the woman kissing Phillip (not Phil’s doing at all), and now we find out that Victor knows all about her and Dan is saying he doesn’t want him around his daughter…but this is the first time (I FF’d a lot I know but I would have noticed this), that this woman is on scene.  It’s just a ploy of the writers – and it makes me mad…to conjour something up like this story without us knowing about it, not that they haven’t done that before.  I don’t like the fact that they wrote Phillip and Mel breaking up before they even got married.

that she had a daughter almost 20 years old?  That would make her – what? – about two years younger than Chad (who is at least 21 or 22).  I think new Gabby looks way to old for Will by about five years or more.  Will should be about 17 now and looks it.

almost too much – and she is a beautiful woman – I think in the last two months though, she’s put on a couple of pounds because this past summer and fall she was looking pretty gaunt and even in the prison scene she looks much better.

writer’s set Phillip up at the Pub with that man-eater who lays a big wet one on Phillip just as Daniel walks in, (just out of the blue story line) so they could move their Nathan/Mel get together along – I tend to think that the next pregger’s story down the pike is Melanie – and then the writers will write another who’s the daddy story line – arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.  Maddening!

illnesses, and sickness – I think a lot of people when they get older take stock of their lives and past sins (that may be why Victor is trying so hard), and try and make amends in any way that they can to put "things to right".  I see Caroline, even being a total reversal in character, just trying to set things right as she said.
