I think this show is really interesting!  didn’t get to watch tonight but last week’s with Rosie O’Donnell going back to Ireland was fascinating!

one I missed (and really wanted to see) was Tim McGraw a couple of weeks ago.  Tonight’s with Kim Catrall was very interesting in that she really found out some disturbing news about how her grandfather left his wife and three daughters and disappeared to England and married again having four more children.  None of the family in England knew anything about his background.  Kim’s mom and aunts were very upset at hearing all of this; although, they finally know where he went when he vanished.  His new family in England was shocked to find out what he had done.

I’m kind of suspect of this show.  Don’t you wonder how all these "stars" could have such interesting backgrounds and not know anything about it?  I have a sneaky feeling that much of what they show is greatly, um, shall we say, enhanced?

rags or TV shows like Entertainment would have come up with something with headlines for the money – years ago – they gave Rock Hudson, JFK, etc.,  a pass in the 60’s but today, they would have printed it just to sell the story and make big bucks!

I find it very interesting. Rosie O’Donnell uncovered that her ancestors were in a workhouse in Ireland. I never knew they existed and the conditions were akin to a concentration camp. The only difference was that people weren’t put to death but died of diseases. Children were separated from parents at age 2. Her people were luckey; they were sponsored to go to Canada. Last season Matthew Broderick’s was a real lesson going far back in our country’s history.

Tim McGraw listed as one of the Who Do You Think You Are? shows.  You go to TV shows and it’s under the last set alphabetically.
