Well, Bonbon I will not throw any stones. I agree with you that it was well done. I also am not sure they actually finish the deed. But regardless there has to be great guiilt at whatever took place.  I don’t know how Sami can look at Rafe without feeling terrible.

on Soapnet, and after being “warned” I was expecting something near pornographic. But I was surprised it did not come across to me as anything but searing pain. The look in EJ’s eyes especially was like nothing I’d seen before.
If they consumated the act, I don’t know. But for sure a truly challenging and extremely difficult scene that was quite gut wrenching. Both actors earned their pay today.

As much as I hated this I do agree that the close ups on their faces spoke volumes about the guilt, pain and desperation they were feeling.  I also know that psychologically when there is a death people can turn to sex as a life affirming thing.  My issue is the timing of the sex and the fact that Sami

Turned to EJ.  It just doesn’t feel authentic to me.  This isn’t angry makeup sex.  They hate each other.  I just don’t buy it but I respect the effort of the actors.  They almost had me buying it but not quite.

I could see EJ having angry sex more than I would see Sami doing it.   Sami supposedly has a man who loves her warts and all!  Will’s reaction was very gut-wrenching.  He did a much better job with his reaction to what he saw than Sami did years ago when she saw John/Marlena doing it.  But she also saw two people that loved each other versus this angry/hurt/disgusting sex on a couch  that Will had to witness!

mainly to see Will’s reaction.  Today I was totally, totally disgusted with EJ and his interaction with Nicole.  I hope he at least showered.  He’s disgusting.  And I don’t feel in the least bit sorry for Sami.  Once again, she thinks before she acts and now the remorse.  Boo, hoo.  Only caught second half of the show and I’m glad Will really stuck it to her.  Good acting on his part.  Of course, he talked around the subject without actually saying I saw what you were doing.  I guess that’s so Sami can show more remorse.  I actually think I may be done with Days for a long time.  I know it’s only a soap, but I think the subject matter really ticks me off at the moment.  I hard that in Mexico a five year marriage is being considered because no one has any desire for commitment any longer.  I guess in Soap Land they’ll have to make it 5 months.

I felt the same way.  "Primal" is a very good word for what happened.

entire months – I thought I’d never be able to do that considering that I was the rabid DOOL fan for 20 years.  I kept up on what was going on in Salem with you guysies this past summer and stepped right back into what was going on like I’d never left (except that Sami was even more obnoxious and whiny than before as if that is actually possible), guess the more things change the more they stay the same.  I would love for Will to tell Sami off – he shouldn’t hold it in or else he will become another Sami – if Sami had delt with her issues that started it all when she saw John and Marlena maybe today, we’d be seeing a different Sami than she has been in the last 15 years, perhaps someone a bit more sane, mature and independent.

And what five months?  The writer’s have broken up marriages much faster!  One comes to mine was  EJ was "in love" with Taylor on his wedding day to Nicole!  I know that’s EJ and he is a snake but not even five months elapsed there.  And how long was Dr. Surfer Dan and Chloe’s nuptial bliss?  That went by at lightening speed too!

As far as Mexico goes, here you can get a marriage and divorce much faster, so much for the words "what ever God has joined, let no man put asunder…"

I said in another post I was done with DWTS – and in this one DOOL.  I guess it’s time to pull out ye ole library book and get to reading.  I’ve always got a book on tape or CD started, but not always one "in hand".  My husband will be glad.  He’s always reading – always non-fiction – me – always fiction.  The only time I can get him to listen to fiction is when we’re on a trip –  then he’s trapped!

I know of real epoplewho come back from the honeymoon and are breakingup.Today’s couple reun away at the first set back. To death do you part is 50% likely to not last.

As for Will, his acting is really great. But I hope TPTB don’t blame this episode for Will becoming gay cause that is just wrong.

I felt the scenes between EJ and Sami were powerful and well done. This was not love but the fallout could be very interesting. They both have lots to lose. I still cannot stand EJ- his actions are still all about being in control. Hope Nicole finds out and he loses everything.

Divorce is too easy to get and marriage even easier.  People now rush into marriage before they even have that first kiss, no wait tht first kiss comes before the first date anymore.   The first sign of trouble they’re packing so to most couples marriage is nothing more than dating and disposable.  I was raised catholic but not in the catholic church anymore but I think they have it right where couples considering marriage need to go to precanna or marriage classes before they can get married.  Maybe they need to start that with all marriages whether in the church or civil.  Of course that didn’t help me any as my ex was running 27 and running around with a 16 year old before we hit the 6 month mark but it might make people think a bit more before they rush into marriage.  Would also stop the drunken marriages that happen in Vegas, you know the ones that get an annulment before the ink on the marrige license is even dry.

Now on to Days and EJ/Sami.  Did they actually have sex or was it just heavy lust and rolling around.   It looked to me as if Sami and EJ were still both dressed from the waist down.  I’m wondering if they’re just guilty that the feelings or emotions were there and they almost went further until Sami pushed him away.

pants don’t have to come all the way off…so they could have…And when they replaced the scenes in black and white on yesterdays show…it was more graphic showing Sami and EJ’s faces with the emotions, to me any way than when they first showed the scene in living color…

but I really don’t think marriage councelling is the ultimate answer.  They need to find out what it is in their personalities that makes it so much easier to run rather than stay and try to work things out.  Obviously there are reasons that are unreconcilable but there are so many that could be resolved.  In fact, I believe my own first marriage falls under that.  Although we were married for 18 years, there were issues throughout and, in spite of councelling, we just didn’t know how to resolve them.

As to, "did they or didn’t they," I think they purposely made it ambigious so, if need be, they can go either way down the line.

It clearly states: HAVE SEX!  If Will had any doubt that they weren’t already doing it, why wouldn’t he have interrupted them before it went that far? If they didn’t do it, why is Sami so guilty looking and scared?  EJ, well, he goes from doing Sami to doing Nicole without a second thought (scum bag!).   I guess diseases don’t exist in Salem or the residents would be really worried with all the causual encounters some seem to have.
