Bomb Syria? Really? How can a president who so unmercifully crucified Bush for attacking a country because it was thought they had WMDs, now justify doing the exact same thing? It’s a little different when the shoe’s on YOUR foot, isn’t it Barry? He can try to spin and justify it all he wants but he’ll never convince me that this makes any kind of sense whatsoever.

What difference does it make if the Syrian government kills the Syrians or we do? Neither side is friends with the US. Let them fight their own battles. It is not our job to police the world. Isn’t that what the UN is supposed to be for?

Agreed – we need to stay out of it unless it becomes a UN issue, or affects us as a nation. Like he said, there are many atrocities going on around the world but we can’t take them all on. So why this one?

side with your opinon. What is there to be gained here? Even so, Obama is not acting like the world leader. First he wants to strike. Then he puts it on Congress. Then he’s pal-ing up with that paragon of virtue, Putin to put these weapons in the hands of some international body.
Like a strike (and btw, who lets the enemy know what the plan is!) is going to deter the bad guys. This is not ww2 era. The world is a dangerous place and something like tinkering in that powderkeg of the Middle East could set off another world war.
I hope Congress truly represents its people and just says no way!

we grew up in Bonbon. I and my friends all say “the trains” (and you know your history) are coming for We, the People soon. But TJMHO – I could be wrong. Not!
