I agree that Abigail is no saint and I understand that Sami is entitled to her pain and anger but when Will pointed out that she had done horrible things in her past she was all "I have paid and paid and paid!" Really! Not that much. She has done horrible things with very few real repercussions and if there were repercussions why not? You should pay for your misdeeds! Now she wants Abby to pay because she had to? She’s just way over the top as usual. She comes off as a hypocrite.
I truly feel for Sami and understand her heartache and anger. I am so on board for her taking down EJ for his latest mishap because he has done so many dirty things in the past and has gotten away with them.
I just cannot buy that Abigail is this seductive beguiling enchantress that EJ just couldn’t resist. (Much like how he pined sfter Taylor). Remember it was more than once for him as well!!! I didn’t realize that he doesn’t know how to say NO– Leave!
I know rhar Abigail is no nun and she certainly has many issues, but I still blame this situation on EJ caus he is the mature, sophiscated,controlling person who never loses his cool. He knows what he wants and he goes after it, period.
As far as Sami’s cheating on Rafe– it IS worse cause they were married at the time, not just engaged. SO is she is worthy of forgiveness, then so is Abigail. I don’t buy the "other woman" made me do it excuse. HE is to blame. (IMHO)
there may have been an over-abundant amount of flashbacks to both E.J.’s and Abigail’s memories, but he NEVER pined for her, nor did he ever give her reason to believe he loved her. It has always been Sami and he was very up-front with Abigail. Abigail was his ridiculous attempt to ensure that Sami was safe from the whole ordeal with Nick Fallon, which is how this whole lousy story started to begin with. You say you can’t see Abigail being this beguiling enchantress that E.J. just couldn’t resist. I could never see that either. Anyway, no one is going to change their opinion on what they think of Sami or E.J. or Abigail in this regard, and neither am I, so I’m going to drop it and simply agree is disagree. It’s like beating a dead horse for me.
My problem with all of this is that Sami ALWAYS gets a pass no matter what she does or who to. She is a vidictive mean spirited person and has never paid for anything she has ever done!! There are always miigating circumstances when she screws someone over and we all have to forgive.
Did she not hear that EJ went to Smith Island to stop Abby from talking to Hope about what she knew about Nick? He went there to keep HER out of trouble and jail. Come on Sami get smart. Ok EJ should not have taken her to bed but he was trying to save Samanther. HE gave up all to keep her out of jail and to protect her….now he is reaping his reward….shit from her and the fans….really….think back people. Yes he was wrong but it was all he could think of to help her…he was willing to kill someone to save her, her reaction is so over the top. She has done much worse and never has paid for anything in all her life.
Sorry or the rant folks, jmo, but I am so sick of everyone joining this pity party for Sami and saying YAY because she is being a bitch. She ALWAYS was a bitch and a mean spirited person one to boot……cudos to Will for telling it like it realy is. I’m glad someone finally called her out on something for once.
that calling your mother a slut is a big no-no, I don’t care what she has done in the past. Just because you are ticked off at her doesn’t give you license to be as mean-spirited as you think she is. Although it is a term that Lucas could justifiably toss around, LOL.
And everyone who is so upset about Sami’s behavior better take a long hard look at what’s going to be left in Salem after Sami goes. Judging from the rest of the characters personalities I think this could be one boring show in the future. Kristen and Nick were the only two who were about on a par with Sami. We’re are going to be left with meddlesome Kate, drunken Brady, sad-sack Hope, pathetic Jen, pompous self-appointed saint Daniel, tedious Theresa, so far trouble for nobody-but-pathetic-Jen Eve, yawn inducing Jordan, the currently equally yawn inducing Rafe, star-crossed I hate/love you Nicole and Eric, comatose John, the suddenly dutiful Marlena and the pop-up characters of Abe, Kayla, Caroline, Maggie and Victor. Every show needs someone you love to hate, who you just know will stir up some trouble.. None of the above fill the bill in my opinion.
Couldn’t have said it better myself… Sami has been the entire show for me for some time. I’ll go down with the ship but I seriously don’t know how they are going to fill the void
You are forgetting that he went to smith island to stop her from talking to Hope abor Nick. HE WAS PROTECTING SAMI AGAIN!!!! And now he is in deep doodoo because of it. Abby went after him not the other way around!!!!!!!!

Yes, the reason EJ went to Smilth Island was to talk Abigial out of talking with Hope. BUT Do you really think that EJ was sacrifcing himself for Sami’s sake? That he TRULY believed that the only way to silence Abigail was to bed her?
I think that he saw an opportunity and took it. Perhaps he felt it would give her a reason to keep quiest, but I doublt Samantha was on is mind at the time!!
As far as I am concern he is getting just whay he deserves.
because in my opinion this entire storyline is the main build-up for AS’ and JS’ exit story, and let’s face it, what two bigger icons leaving a soap opera at the same time, whether it be together or not, can compare to these two? I mean, hell there are a lot of things about this storyline that I detest, this silly EJabby affair being at the top of the list, but when these two actors leave, and admittedly they are my favorite characters on this show, then I just may decide to do the same, because I honestly don’t see much of anyone else holding my interest. I can find fault with each and every character on this show, but for me none are even close to resembling my love for Sami and E.J. Everyone has their preferences, of course, when it comes to the actors/characters on DOOL, but, for me, once they are gone, I may be too….at least until they return at some point.
and some intense drama were for the offing I can see Days still kicking. Look what happened to Bo and Hope going way back or John and Marlena. Basically kicked to the curb by the scripts. I think there’s hope for Hope and Aiden once Bo is taken care of. I kind of like JJ and Paige. But look at the debaucle of Jenn/Dan and Rafe/Jordan. Brady and anyone. Kate looking humiliating by traipsing after Rafe.
And come on writers, where’s the beef in this Ben/Jordan/Clyde business?
Salem needs a huge shakeup on all fronts to survive not so much EJ, but Sami’s departure.and I’ll probably still stay tuned in, but I just can’t see any of these characters creating a buzz like Sami and E.J., and I just hope these writers will be able to still hold my interest. I’ve been with this show since practically it’s beginning, so I’ll try. But these writers need to do a better job, IMO. Even this Kristen return isn’t doing it for me. So far, I’m disappointed. I’m not a Kristen fan, anymore than I am a fan of any villain, even though I know it would be boring without them. Kristen is only here for a 3 month arc, …. then what????
as it’s only been a couple days and see how her return impacts several characters. Hey, if she can kick butt on Theresa I’m all for it!
I think I will try to stay positive about the show after Sami leaves, I really do not like how they are writing Sami in her final days, she has always been one to act before she thinks but now with the power she has now she is on a roll that is going to bite her somewhere .. smile.. I also will miss EJ and his bad boy ways but it is not the Sami & EJ show so I will stay positive that DOOL will continue with out those two, their exit will leave a large emptiness in the show but I think it will make it through…. Hopefully…
