ParticipantWhy would Ariana’s juvenile gang use a Celtic Symbol for their gang? Last time I checked, Hernandez wasn’t a Celtic name and gangs usually form from the same ethnic background. Stupid, stupid writing.

Participantbut didn’t Ari say it was her ex-boyfriend’s symbol? However, since the Spanish ruled Mexico some of her heritage could very well be Celtic. It’s a long shot, but ‘Celtic’ is also sometimes used to describe regions of continetal Europe (including areas of Portugal and Spain), that have Celtic heritage, but where no Celtic language has survived; these areas include the western Iberian penisula, (Portugal) and north central Spain, Gaul (France), Austira and then all over the rest of today’s modern day Europe – mostly spread by Caesar and the Romans – eventually ending up in the British Isles.

ParticipantI don’t think the gang used the same symbol. I just thought they said their MO was similar to what they are accusing Ari of. Perhaps it was a different type of symbol. It makes no sense for it to be the same because how would Hope know that? She is against framing Ari.

Participantto have used that symbol. Maybe one of them had a tattoo of it in their mug shot. Besides, I don’t think you’d necessarily need to be that particular ethnicity to use one of their symbol. I mean, look how popular the shamrock is. They may have just liked the look of it while disregarding it’s meaning. Yeah, plot device, plot device…

ParticipantI guess I heard Hope wrong. How weird that Hope just happens to use the same symbol as Ari’s gang when she was so mad at Dr. Baker for wanting to frame another woman. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but then again, it’s the Twilight Zone… er I mean Salem.

Participantand lately it has become more and more nonsense to me. Now, if it could in any way help bring down Nicole Walker DiMera, that might change my mind. What she’s diong to Ari is so Nicole — I just want to slap her sometimes.

Participantthey would redeem Nicole will be sorely disappointed. I didn’t really want her redeemed entirely but I did think it would be interesting to continue to pair her with EJ where they weren’t entire evil and dastardly (like she is now) but dancing around the fringe of really being bad guys. Alas, that was not to be.
