ParticipantI got a little teary-eyed today but what finally made them fall was EJ. Especially after he told Nicole yesterday that the only ones who ever loved him for who he is was her and Lexie. When he told her (Lexie) she didn’t have to be strong, to go ahead and cry, that’s when I lost it.
I think I’m going to buy some Kimberly-Clark stock (Kleenex) for this one.
I must add that I’ve never been a big Abe fan but he sure nailed it today. I could really feel his pain.
And I guess we’re going to revisit the time Lexie was held in the underground tunnel for so long by none other than dear ol’ dad, Stefano. But did Dr. Wu tell Lexie the tumor could have been caused by that gas? <rolling eyes at this one> Certainly she’d immediately blame Stefano. Maybe that’s going to come out later.

Participanthave any basis in fact? I suppose in some broad sense exposure to a toxin (like asbestos in mesothelioma) could link to cancer, but it just seemed pretty far fetched Lexie would get this from being in a tunnel.

Participantit was Andre not Tony who put her in the tunnel.

Participantit wasn’t Stefano. Thanks for reminding me.
I’m sure there’s no medical basis in any kind of gas being in that tunnel causing a tumor but it makes for good drama.

Participantand how toxic the gas was. You have to be exposed to a cancer causing agent like asbestos for a very long time to develop a terminal illness from it …. like nicotine relates to lung cancer. I know some people develop lung cancer and never smoked a day in their life, but in most instances one would have to either be a long time smoker or exposed to second-hand smoke for a very long period of time before cancer develops from it. I can’t remember how long Lexi was in those tunnels, though.
