    Yes Maam!! I am wearing it even though it’s uncomfortable. But it’s better than surgery and a cast. I can take it off to take a shower, so that’s some relief. But I promise I will wear it when was suppose to.

    I removeable splint/cast is so much better than a traditional one.

    I tripped over the vacuum cleaner cord last year and had 3 breaks in 4 bones in my foot.  The ortho doc gave me a choice between a regular plaster (maybe they’re fiberglass now) cast or an air cast that I could remove for sleeping and showering.  Being slightly claustrophobic and a diabetic I opted for the air cast and it was wonderful being able to take it off to air out my leg and foot and to scratch when I had an itch.

    So happy to hear the surgery is done and you are eating again.
