On Dayscafe, I read that Kayla has to hurry back to Africa because Steve is in bad shape??? huh? is he sick or hurt? he wasnt hurt when they went to africa was he? Does he still have his FBI business or is he helping Kayla at the hospital or whatever she’s doing. so many questions we’ll more than likely never get answers to.
the character may have been brought in to help reveal who switched the DNA on little Parker Jonas. Is the actress coming back later?
to tend to an "ailing" Steve. No word on if or when she will be back. Maybe they will decide to kill Steve off, now that the actor is in a contract role on Y&R.
(brief for Days) they could bring Kayla back and pair her with new dr. at hospital or someone else. Then, in a few years when Steve looses or gets out of the Y&R contract, he would be brought back in a miraculous way from the dead, i.e., Dr. Mike found a rare cure with some African plant, but he couldn’t tell anyone because the process was not approved by the FDA or something. YadayadaYada…
Why cant they just forget about them in Africa? if he is dying then Stephanie should fly back to africa with her mom to be with her dad. a good way to get rid of her!
I read in Soap Opera Digest where she said she was hired for 25 shows. I don’t think she has done that many this go round. She is probably off for awhile and then brought back to finish up.
I don’t care about Stephanie anymore. They ruined this character. I just don’t want Steve to die. It’s bad enough Jenn coming back without Jack but Kayla without Steve, I just can’t take it.
I saw on Days Cafe that she’s scheduled to return in December so it sounds like she’s coming and going for brief periods only. At least it’s not like other characters they’ve brought back to have them sitting on the sidelines or fill-in’s but they could bring her back for more than being an interferring snob like she is with Carly and Bo.
