Carly and Lawrence:
I thought their scenes were fantastic. Pretty ingenious of Carly to use her real name when writing those prescriptions (Katerina Von Leuschner). I know Carly is not popular with this forum, but she really is convincing in this current role of an addict spiraling off the edge. Her visions of Lawrence and his taunting of her were just fantastic, IMO. Make what you will of the character, but CC can really pull off her role in the most convincing way, and I’m anxious to see how far they’re going to take her addiction. Michael Sabatino is in that same category for me. He’s terrific with his taunts, especially his "I’ll be waiting for you on the other side" line. Crystal is rocking these scenes, IMO.
Melanie and Dario:
Another unpopular pair that are really growing on me. You can see how much they’re starting to care for one another, but yet neither one wants to be the first to admit it. I find myself now cheering for them rather than jeering at them.
Abbey and Jennifer:
Can’t quite warm up to Abbey yet. She’s just a little too critical of Chad’s relationship with Stefano. Not that I think Stefano is a shining example of fatherhood, but Abbey is not the one who should be sounding off about it. I hope Jennifer can finally make her see what her real problem is … not that Stefano is there for Chad, but that Jack is NOT there for her. Selfish, hypocritical little girl, you’d better back off before the wicked witch of Salem turns your hourglass upside down.
Rafe and Sami:
I love the way they’re having Sami be so patient with Rafe still not remembering. Sweet scene when he was commenting on the kids’ pictures. I hope they don’t rush this too quickly, but I also can’t wait until his memories come rushing back. I still am wondering what they will be doing with R-2, and when the will decide to let Bo and Roman in on it. Also, the effect it will have on E.J. and Stefano once the truth comes out. Will Nicole finally be the one to turn the tables on them, or will they use Rafe to dupe them into believing he is R-2. That would have to be done down the road, because he would have to recover his memories first to know everything that’s been said and done from the inception of the ruse, and if they do it too quickly, it just will not be believable. Same with Sami and Rafe. Take your time with this one, writers, please.
I too loved the scenes with Carly and Lawrence. I was very surprised to see him reappear, but very delighted too. His taunts were perfect and I can buy into Carly becoming addicted. She is playing this role really well.
The only thing I’m not too sure of is the Melanie/Dario relationship, but I must say that Dario is getting better. I hated his character at first and his acting was pretty bad. I think he’s becoming more comfortable in front of the camera so that makes it easier to watch him. Melanie just grates on my nerves. I tend to only like her when she’s helping save people like Stephanie and Chloe. The better parts of her character come out and she’s not whiney.
Agree about Abby too. I really don’t like this actress/character portrayal of Abby. I just can’t warm up to her.
I completely agree! I am so in love with Sami and Rafe now. They are just too cute! I’m curious too as to what they are doing with R2. I also think Carly is doing a great job. and Lawerence was hilarious. you can just tell he’s related to Vivian! I am liking Mel and Dario too. Same wiht Chloe and whats his name, the Aussie. they havent had many scenes yet but i’m looking forward to seeing that relationship. I still think all these relationships are happening to fast after all these divorces. all the paperwork probably havent been filed yet! LOL. I’m not sure about Abby yet either. there’s just something about her that bugs me. i cant stand her lips either. lol. looks like she went overboard with the collegan(sp?)
Maybe it’s because I didn’t watch the show when Carly and/or Lawrence were originally on, but I have absolutely no interest in any scenes with these two! Especially since Lawrence is a ghost. On Friday I FF’d pretty much any scene that wasn’t Sami & Rafe.

An actor’s ability is open season, their physical characteristics are not. Please keep it respectful – some of the actors actually read these posts and unless you’d feel comfortable telling this to them directly, please don’t say it here.
Jennifer and Hope have a natural beauty and I hope they keep it that way.
My two cents….I’ve watched Tamara Braun play Ava, Reese from All My Children and now Taylor. I swear she plays all three characters the same just a new ore recycled script….Really makes me appreciate Gavin he is completely different with both Rafes.
is always going to be the sleezy Ava to me. The former actress who played Taylor may have been "breathless" and always had that deer in the head lights look, this Taylor now looks like she wants to hang up side down in the rafters of the DeMansion and drink blood. Even her sweet innocent smiles always make me think of "she’s evil" underneath that smile.
I never watched Tamara on the other soap, but i did see her as Ava. which I dont know, she’s not like Ava yet, she’s too wimpy, if they change her into the direction they are going to then i can see it. I agree about Rafe too, and his name is Galen not Gavin. He’s totally different playing both characters. he’s fabulous. Even when he was on Passions, he was also a cop but he was totally different from Rafe. He seems much smarter on Days. lol. he was a love sick puppy after Sheriden on Passions. he is a fabulous actor! now that John is gone, he is my favorite male character on Days. not to mention the HOTEST! I wish he’d show more Abs like they did on Passions, the guys on there were shirtless alot more! haha.
