Surprised I’m not missing her much -Melanie came back just in time!

The storylines have been very boring since Sami left. Sami always stirred things up and Mel, while I do love her, needs a bit more practice as the troublemaker before she can replace Sami, IMHO. But she definitely has potential!

I find Mel to be a busy bocy who feels that it is her duty to defend Brady and her dad. Wait till she finds out her dad has a thing for Nicole.

and I, for one, cannot wait.  No one will ever be able to replace Sami Brady for me.  My bet is it will be for the show’s 50th anniversary, unless, of course, Ali’s as fed up with these writers as I am.

if Melanie and Theresa are supposed to be the next Sami and Nicole. I like Jen Lilly, I just wish there was more to love, or even like, in Theresa. Melanie’s ‘adorable’ act is going to get old quick.

The show, as Patti and I predicted, is a shadow of itself with her (and E.J.)

Seriously – NBC should cancel the Biggest Loser so she has more time for DOOL (since she left to spend more time with her family) OR throw a huge sum of money at her (they can give her Paige, JJ, Jen & Eve’s salaries LOL.)

Come back Ali – we missssssssssss yooooouuuuuuuuuuu!!!

when she goes on and on with her schtick and people have to tell hr to put a sock in it. I do like her scenes with Maggie though.

I miss her SOOOOOO much, it feels like a death. Nothing is exciting or fun. No one can carry the show like she could. (And she wasn’t my favorite character, but I didn’t hate her)

Whyyyyy do we need JJ, Paige & Eve (omg, kill me, these two…), Jenn and all the rest of the borrrrrringgggggg newcomers? I’m looking at you Jordan, Paul, Serena, Chad, Clyde… Oh, why couldn’t Clyde have killed Will?

You seems to forget that unlike many actors on this show, neither Ali nor James wer fired, (like Deidre, Drake, Bryan, etc). They chose to leave to do other things. Let them go, try their wings. Apparently Ali would be welcome back. Not sure about James, but if he wanted to. TPTB could make it happen ( how many times did Jack die only to reappear!)

The show will go on if viewers give it a chance. There aren’t many soaps left, be happy it is still on the air.

that she wants to return at some point, probably for the 50th anniversary of DOOL; James, however, seems to have no intention of returning.  He’s tweeting about his adventures a lot lately, and seems perfectly content with his decision to leave, so unless they try a recast, I don’t think we will be seeing E.J. DiMera anytime soon, unless they come up with some storyline that jives with why we never found out what Kristen injected into his body, or some other reason such as Stefano has found one of his mad doctors to bring him back to life, but keep him comotose until he is ready to bring him back.  I don’t believe for a minute that Stefano thinks that much of Chad; E.J. is and always will be his No. 1 son.  Maybe we’ll get some mention of him when Kristen returns.

And I believe the injection was an "out" for DOOL in the future – otherewise why do it…  They probably know at some point they’ll need an "EJ" again on the canvas.

Ali wanted family time – makes sense after 21 + years on the show.  But maybeeeeeeeeeeee if they cancel TBL she will come back – albeit part time?  Wishful thinking???  LOL     If not, we wait until the 50th.  Boo – that is soooooo far away.
