Rumour has it that Melissa Archer (Serena) has been fired. This was mentioned by Daytime Confidential but is unconfirmed.
and if that be the case, she will be the first with more to follow. As much as I like Melissa Archer and wish her well, she was robbed of any success with this role the minute she walked through the door by having a forced love affair with GV shoved down everyone’s throats, no backstory to speak of and, when she finally did get one, it stank to high heaven. I think I said in another thread that I would not be the least bit surprised if the elephant s/l was what finally sank TomSell. In any case, I don’t believe that Serena ever had any intention of harming Eric. She was simply a victim of horrible writing and a wildly unbelievable s/l. I do wonder how they will write her exit story if this rumor turns out to be true. And, for the record, it would not surprise me that once the Kristen/Theresa/Brady baby s/l is revealed, I’d be willing to bet that Molly Burnette will be the next one out the door.
I did post today on my FB page that someone will last be airing before summer arrives, so prepare for that departure. This isn’t in regards to the Melissa Archer rumor, it’s about someone else.
I wouldn’t miss Molly at all. She is all over the place, constatnly babbling about "stuff". I don’t htink she has improved in acting at all. JMHO
now that you mention it, I recall reading on another site where "blind" items are posted stating something like a very "leggy" character will be leaving DOOL. I know you won’t reveal any further information (yet); however, I can only hope it’s not Arianne Zucker, although the horrible writing of Nicole would certainly not surprise me if this marvelous actress just couldn’t take it any longer. It’s a shame how they have portrayed Nicole, IMO!
But, who else on the show is "leggy"? Dan even used to call her "Legs." Maybe it is Eve. She is the only tall one I can think of unless it is Maggie–surely not, though.
