There is a rumor out there that someone may possibly be recast and it controversial. I sure hope it’s not Stefano! Only Joe M. can be Stefano.

There have certainly been enough anvils dropping about Stefano. A spoiler on Days Cafe has Chad saying he’s spoken with Stefano.

I’ll be FF through any scenes involving him. That role belongs to Joe and nobody else!

This shall not stand! it is disrespectful and creepy. He WAS that role, we did not get a recast of Tom, it is still his voice opening the show, Alice, and other iconic characters.

but by "recast", I think they are referring to the actor, Brandon Barash (formerly Stefan DiMera), who has been seen on the set, will be returning, but not as Stefan, but as a completely different character. They just have not let us know who he will be, but he will not be Stefan.

That’s a little odd too. Although they’ve done it before with Chris Kosichek coming back as Roman and Roman coming back as that creepy guy whose name I don’t remember.

I also had a thought that maybe it could be EJ since Johnny is coming back.
