I remember a couple of years ago they had a different hospital lobby/nurses station.  The people would come in from where the nurses station now is and there was no desk in the way.  They also had the rooms on the opposite side of the set or at least it appeared that way.

If they’re limited to sets could they at least have a moveable window so it looks like it’s the room next door or have the nurses station on wheels and move it around a bit so it looks like a different room.

I still love how every doctor takes care of everything and everybody.  An ER doc doesn’t usually do surgery and a surgeon only goes to the ER when they’re called to consult on a patient.   Most ER’s have their own docs and at a lot of hospitals the docs don’t work for the hospital but they’re a private group that’s contracted.  Nurses also don’t usually work on every floor and in surgery.

I know, it’s not real life, it’s only a soap and all that but it still bugs the heck out of me.

How many hospital rooms have a side door in addition to the front?  And only people who want to sneak into the room seem to use it.

Where I worked the older part of the hospital had rooms with a Jack & Jill bathroom so you could enter the room by going in the room next door but when they started remodeling they pretty much got rid of all of them.
