Thank goodness…saw a spoiler where "the gang heads out for a picnic at the lake"
I am thrilled
*the writers are acknowledging the season!
*Daniel has charcoal! (random, and it may be product placement, but at least it’s a summer time product)
*Couple will be having fun as opposed to fighting/gossiping/plotting/solving crime
*the old Days can’t be far away ….
Today’s show was so very good mainly, in my opinion, because Daniel and Jennifer are so great as a couple. She looks years younger than she did with Jack. Jen was always frowning with him. She never looked happy and light hearted. I really don’t look forward to his return because I know he will guilt her into breaking up with Dan.
She does look younger with Daniel..and I’m not looking forward to Jack’s return either. They are so combative and irritating. She seems calmer with Daniel and not so hyper!
and if it’s any indication as to the direction our show is heading, count me in as an appreciative fan. The picnics, the parties, the holidays, will all be returning, so I’ve read, and it seems everyone has been looking forward to it. I know I am.
I am loving Jen with Daniel and I hated him with everyone else. I want Jack back but I’m not sure if I want him with Jen. I guess we have to wait and see what his excuse and subsequent behavoir will be. With Jack always being so goofy Jen was the straight man all the time. With Daniel Jen actually gets to crack some jokes. The one about breaking out the victrola at the lake was very funny.
