I saw pictures of the storm and thought of you.  I hope you still have electricity at least so you can stay warm.  I’m sure glad I don’t have to shovel all that white stuff.  BTW, I sent you a couple of bottles of 82° Florida sunshine to give you a little break.

Stay safe and let us know your condition.

yes, I’m fine.  We ended up with what the TV forecasters said was 22.5" for most of our state; however, I sent my granddaughter out in my back yard early yesterday morning, where no person or animal had yet tread, and she placed a three-foot yardstick right in the center.  It showed 26".   I definitely could use some of that Florida sunshine and warmth.  My bones definitely do not do well in this weather.  Thank goodness I never lost power, so I’m safe and snug until the next one comes along, I guess, which they’re calling for on Christmas Eve, although nothing like the one that just passed.   Thanks for thinking of me.

Good to hear that all is well, even if you are almost up to your rear in snow.  Take care and keep a big pot of soup ready.  That will help keep you warm.  So glad you did not lose power; we want to be able to hear from you.

Being held prisoner of mother nature in my own home right now, which is all the more reason I’m glad I didn’t lose power.  How else would I be able to communicate with my pals on this board?  Heaven forbid!!!

Drifts were much higher. My 2 1/2 year old grandson got stuck walking in the snow; he had to wait for Mommy to pick him up.
