What a perfect game to kick off season 100! Packers and Bears.

I’ve been super absorbed in all things Jags. If Foles and the rest of the offensive starters can stay healthy, we should win 10 or 11. The backup offense was, well, very offensive and if we have to rely on them we won’t have much to cheer about.  The defense is so stout, especially with the addition of Josh Allen. That dude is a beast! Calais Campbell has taken Josh under his wing, so I am confident he will be doing the right things on and off the field.

How are the Ravens and Bills looking?

PP, you’ll get to see AR under his new coach and OC. Always love watching Aaron. The Bills might be interesting. They totally rehabbed their O line and defense looks even better than last year. Plus new receivers.
Patti, haven’t seen you much on the forum. Hope all is okay with you? The Ravs too look threatening.

the Pack has a defense! I’m quite pumped about their chances this season.
Meanwhile, have you guys been following the egocentric Antonio Brown saga? I blame all the enablers for this mess – starting with John Gruden. I bet he gives AB like one game suspension.

Man, the Packer D is stout this year.  Since Aaron didn’t play a snap in preseason I’ll give the O a pass until next week.  They definitely need to establish the run.

Now on to KC at the Jags which is a tough week 1 matchup, but if Foles plays his best we’ll be fine.  Our D found out last year you can’t ride on the laurels of 2017.  I think they will be up to the task.

I knew Brown would be a soap in the making.  What a drama queen!  I wouldn’t want that kind of vibe in my locker room.

over Patti’s absence. I know how she loves her Ravs and the start of the season. It’s not like her to be silent. Gee, I sure hope everything’s okay. Patti, please report in!!

Couldn’t defend or tackle and then they have the self-discipline of kindergartners.  Gardner Minshew really came through off the bench. Maybe playing with the rest of the second string didn’t do him justice. Hate to hear Foles has a broken clavicle, but at least we have a competent backup.

Congrats on good starts for the Ravens and Bills.

    to highly touted Cleveland?!
But now I highly suspect something is up with Patti – with the Ravens’ rout she’d be shouting from the rooftops. I just pray it’s not a health issue or something bad she’s dealing with.

nothing to post before this, so now HERE WE GO, and thank God.  I’m sorry if I concerned you both, but my health is okay except for some serious osteoarthritis, but some tylenol and tramadol take care of that quite nicely.

Anyway, I truly began to feel sorry for the Miami Dolphins after the first 11 minutes into the game when we were already up 21-zip, and we never looked back nor did we slow down.  It was like an indefensible object meeting a mass destructive force.  The Ravens have not just improved this season….I truly believe they could have succeeded with anyone yesterday….they were that good.  All sorts of new records earned, way too many to post.  Of course, I could feel the hurt for Miami.  Like our Orioles, they are in rebuild mode, but it didn’t surprise me to read that several of the players asked to be traded after the game….seriously!

I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am with our team this year, and Lamar, please learn when to go down if and when you ever do decide to run again.  I want you staying healthy for the season and beyond.  What a show.  I am sooo psyched this year, that’s for sure.

I just knew if anything would bring a post it would be your beloved Ravens. Yes, Miami is definitely tearing down and building up and it’s pretty bad when players want out. But good for my Bills!
Your team looks ever so promising and I think you’ve got your franchise QB w/Jackson.
On my front, after a 16-0 deficit, the Bills got it together in the 4th. Our new rookie Singletary should make everyone forget L. McCoy and the players the GM brought in are definitely an upgrade. The D looks terrific!

Happy to see they got a good performance from John Brown.  I always liked him and it looks like he found the right mix with the Bills.  It’s going to be a lot of fun watching football this season.

Welcome back Patti!  If Lamar doesn’t learn to go down, he could go the route of RG3 who got injured and then was tossed aside by the Redskins.  (Speaking of them, how does Jay Gruden still have a job?)

I have AT&T for cable, so no Thursday night games for me unless I pony up more $$ for another service.

We’ll see which Jags D shows up for the game in Houston.  It should be fun watching Minshew.  It’s about time another late round pick makes his mark in the NFL.  Foles’ new job is "assistant OC", so apparently he will be traveling with the team and in the booth with DeFillippo.

The Pack plays the Vikes at home, so hopefully they’ll get the luck of Lambeau.  Should be a good game.

Good luck to all of our teams this weekend!

tanks again this week could be real trouble brewing. Although I believe they’ll rebound.
