I truly think I am about to gag! What in the h@@@ is wrong with Rafe? He just jumps back into a relationship with Sami. just like that? No discussion about lack of trust; no discussion about moving into the Dimera mansion; no discussion about walking down the aisle with EJ????? I have lost ALL respect for Rafe. He deserves her, now, IMO.August 31, 2010 at 5:51 pm #15869BonoSugaRayParticipant
I saw a preview for today’s show (the bedroom scene betwixt those two)…All I can say is EWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Gross! That scene looks so vomity; it’s horrifying! FAST FORWARD, everybody! Ugh! Heck, Rafe doesn’t even know if the woman got an std or anything; he just plops right into fornication mode with her. It wouldn’t surprise me if she ends up preggos again (SERVES RAFE RIGHT)! lolAugust 31, 2010 at 6:10 pm #1587253tdogsParticipant
Sami. Sami doesn’t know what love is…she needs counseling badly. And I think Rafe does too now that he’s been ensnared in Sami’s weirdness.August 31, 2010 at 7:12 pm #15874luckeyParticipant
I automatically envisioned another Sami pregnancy. What a joke! I really didn’t think the writers were going to have them in bed so fast, but I should have known better. I watched it when it was on today instead of on my DVR tonight and I immediately reached for the remote to ff and had to laugh at myself because I couldn’t!! I’ve liked Rafe from the beginning on this show, but the writers are making him a disgustingly weak character. They kept talking how EJ forced Sami to do this or think that…what the heck does Rafe think Sami’s doing to him!?August 31, 2010 at 9:03 pm #15875BonoSugaRayParticipant
Correct. Plus, she was exclaiming how she feared ej would try to take the kids away from here! ummmm…if she is that worried, why the HECK isn’t she where her kids are, instead of banging rafe?! COME ON NOW! that’s so SLOPPY of her!August 31, 2010 at 10:11 pm #15876
you mean as opposed to "BANGING" E.J., who has done nothing but lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, intimidate, instigate, and any other gate to hell he would have liked her to wander through? At least Sami stopped herself with Rafe and admitted …… yes, I said admitted ….. to today that she made a lot of mistakes in her life; that she continues to make bad decisions; and that she thought she had matured, but obviously she has not to have made the horrible mistake of believing E.J., who, by the way, evidently found no problem today in either killing or attempting to kill, George, Nicole’s FBI bodyguard, just to get to Nicole so that he could, wait…..what….oh, yeah, kill her, too, for ruining his plans. Frankly, I was encouraged by Sami today. She knew her children were with HER family, that they were asleep, and that they were safe and sound and protected. I also was genuinely impressed with the way Rafe handled her situation, calmly, lovingly, and assuring her that he understood why she stopped. Maybe for the first time in a very long time, I was actually proud of Sami today. She almost made a horrendous, hideous mistake by marrying this disgusting s.o.b., E.J., simply out of spite because she saw the man she truly loved in what she believed to be a situation that was in no way what she perceived it to be. Sure, she reacted impulsively and it almost cost her everything. But she was not about to let him walk out of her life again without letting him know how she truly felt. So thanks, Rafe. Whether it will be worth your while …. only time will tell …. but I loved their actions and reactions toward each other today and hope it will finally allow Sami to continue to find strength in a man who, in all honesty, really and truly loves her, and not one who only wishes to possess her. You know, I think back to when E.J. raped (yes, it was rape) Sami and I vividly remember him telling her just before he did, "it’s time to pay the devil his dues." Well, right back atcha’ because you’ll be damned in ways you could never believe would happen to a DiMera when Sami finally decides that paybacks are a bitch, so here she comes, Lucifer. You’ll need your pitchfork and a clear head to fend off this one. All things said and done, I absolutely loved the show today, and the stories are moving well and gaining speed in the interest department. Lots of good things coming our way.August 31, 2010 at 11:02 pm #15879macrrParticipant
Did we see the same show? What sane man jumps back into bed with a woman who has been sleeping with his arch enemy, and was walking down the aisle with said enemy, and had lost all trust and faith in the man? As I stated, there was NO repercussions for Sammi’s brain-dead decisions, which is so disheartening. Rafe had been portrayed as a level-headed, sensible man. His falling into bed with Sammi on the same day as all of this going down is disgusting, and quite frankly, against his character, I think. Sammi, on the other hand, has the maturity of a fly, and the morality of a gnat—her having sex with anyone at any given time is no surprise. Her character is despicbale, and she wouldn’t know right from wrong if one or the other slammed into her at 100 miles per hour.
Nothing in my post insinuates that I favor EJ over Rafe. In fact, my post had nothing to do with EJ at all. It was simply about my disappointment with Rafe. (And I never did like Sammi with EJ).
I was hoping the writers would not pair her back up with Rafe. Until today, he deserved someone much, much better. Sammi needs to be DUMPED in a bad way. Maybe then will she realize that a woman doesn’t need a man to survive. Maybe then she will realize that her children should be her number one priority for a change. Maybe then she will realize that she should actually work for a living (instead of spunging off someone else) to try and teach her children something beyond being a s^^^.
Anyway, it’s always great to have these discussions.August 31, 2010 at 11:33 pm #1588353tdogsParticipant
redeem herself…I’ve, (we’ve?) been wishing that for years and years. It would be great for Sami to take a breather from men for at least a year…….go back to school (yes, even at her age, which in a few short years is going to be middle age), get some kind of fast track job or career and be her mother’s daughter – stop living for men, stop the "I have to have a man to take care of my kids" syndrome. I don’t know where or when (rape by Alan or seeing John and Marlena on the conf. room table) Sami went "nut-so" but after a rough and ugly time in our lives, we all have to grow up, and get on with the business of living sanely especially with four children to care for.
Please writer’s I am begging you…I used to think Sami was charming and fun to watch but after ten, twelve, fifteen years of this stuff with Sami…I finally have to FF all of Sami scenes now too? Pretty soon, I’ll just watch the opening sand trickling down "Days of our Lives" and the end credits and have no characters left to watch.September 1, 2010 at 2:36 am #15892GoodyParticipant
Macrr, I think there should have been more time and understanding between Rafe and Sami before they jumped into bed. For all we know, tomorrow Sami will have a change of heart again and run back to EJ. Maybe someday Sami will learn that sex does not equal love.

Sami just dumping those kids at the pub and taking off with Rafe. Come on – with all these kids have been through, what caring mother doesn’t stay at least the first night in their new place with her children she claims are so precious? Especially when she thinks they’re in danger and woke up from a bad dream about it. I can’t get over this woman – even though it’s tried and true Sami-ism!September 1, 2010 at 11:36 am #15894DebbiParticipant
I was surprised that Rafe didn’t say something about her staying there the first night. Even if he offered to stay and sleep on the couch to be there in case anything happened. I know Roman had cops stationed there, but it seems to me, Rafe loves those kids too.September 1, 2010 at 1:19 pm #15897
unless I am posting directly under your name, which I am now, my posts are directed at the original post and my answer is directed to the originator of that post, so sorry if you felt I was contradicting you, per se. Second, I don’t like the fact that Sami jumps in and out of mens’ beds as if they were connected by a trampoline either; but, the gist of my opinion is that Sami finally did admit, for a change, what she is, what she has done in the past, and is finally going to admit that this imposter of love in the form of E.J. DiMera is not what is best for her, and although I see everyone’s point about her rash decision to leave her children and go off with Rafe, I can understand that she wanted him to know how she truly felt about him, and that’s all it was. I also do not think she should have stayed overnight with him. Sure, they should have simply ‘kissed and made up’ and Sami should have returned to her kids. I just like the way they talked everything out and finally made each other aware of how and why things got this far out of control, and now that they understand and their love seems to be secure, I hope they take it slow, but from what I’ve read, this will not be the case. Instead, they will jump from the frying pan into the fire with an almost immediate marriage proposal and engagement. Now, that’s more disgusting to me than their making love on yesterday’s show. Like I said in another post, these children, as well as Ciara Brady, are going to need some serious therapy by the time they are SORASed.September 1, 2010 at 1:26 pm #15898
thought it was someone else; sorry about that, but my opinion remains the same. Excuse the mistake.
