ParticipantI hope they don’t try to go too far with this making Nicole a "tough guy" because she is pathetic at it. That scene in the cell today was laughable. That other woman was trying so hard to make a scared, screwed-up face, I felt uncomfortable for her.
Also, I don’t know why Nicole doesn’t have any make-up on, they can wear make-up in prison, unless they’re trying to convince us she is still despondent (which she didn’t look). But they certainly put some realism in the color of her hair. That’s probably exactly what it would have looked like growing out that dark color.

Participantit was sooooooo fake. Not only did it portray Nicole in an almost comedic light, but it diminished Ari’s talent for believability in her character. Hopefully, that rough-tough cream-puff act will end once she gets back to Salem. I expect her to exact her revenge, especially when she finds out who was behind Syd’s kidnapping, but let’s not go overboard with the prison persona, please writers. Personally, I’m surprised Ari even could do it with a straight face. I know I couldn’t watch it with one.

ParticipantI thought for a second I had tuned in to one of those old 1940’s films about women in prison, what a joke. Nicole looked the part about her hair color, but I have seen shows on TLC and Discovery channels where they can even do their hair in prison (rehabilitation supposedly) – learning a trade for the outside.
Not the great scenes of Nicole that we’ve been waiting for these past two months that’s for sure!

Participantwhen she said to the guard: "what are you going to do tonight, watch old Ida Lupino movies?" That did make me laugh out loud. Many of us on here do remember Ida Lupino well, and she did play in several prison movies. That, to me, was probably the line of the day.

Participantmany of the actors on that show would even know who she was! I always liked her movies.
Now, about that cellmate of Nicole’s!! I could hardly watch the scenes because it looked so fake and uncomfortable for the actress. I’m also hoping the jailhouse scenes are very few. Awful, awful scenes!

ParticipantAlmost any time a woman is in jail/prison, they are bullied, beat up, etc. More recycled scripts.
