Patti, what do you think of Joe going to Broncos? It was obvious Flacco was no longer destined for Ravs, but the folks in Denver are largely P.O’d with the move. For Elway being such an acclaimed QB he’s definitely laid eggs on his team’s signal callers starting with Tebow. The latest Case Keenam is still a question mark, but appears Flacco will be THE guy this season. Personally I’m rooting for Joe to get in there and have some success.

and believe me when I tell you, I absolute despise him going to Denver.  He’s a quality guy who had a bad run, and to have Elway be the big gun for the Broncos turns my stomach.  This is a guy (John Elway) who said he would rather play baseball than come to Baltimore when the Colts drafted him.  I wish Joe nothing but the best, and if he’s not appreciated there, then they don’t deserve him.

because of the crap he pulled.  Loved it when the Broncos lost and when he got sacked.  However as I got older, I guess I mellowed a bit and was happy for him when he won a Super Bowl.  Eli pulled a stunt as well.

If Flacco was healthier I would love for him to have come to the Jags.  Hope he doesn’t get injured again in Denver.

heard some musings about Nick Foles might be a fit for Jags?

A lot of people seem to be hung up on getting Haskins from OSU, but I can’t get sold on someone who had one good season.  The Jags haven’t been very good with draft picks.  I’d rather them get Foles, draft an O-lineman in the first round and pick up a QB in round 2 or 3.

Okie QB Murray will go number one in the draft. Supposedly though, this draft is defense heavy.
The going price for Free Agent QBs has gotten ridiculous even on those who are not high end.

in that it will be drafting younger, faster, quick out of the gate, great hands, and able to run like the wind.  A younger, faster offense seems to be the greater interest for teams now, and although they still concentrate on defense, the ground game will be much improved in the future, which will show in the draft.

Pretty sordid if reports are true on Kraft and the “massage” parlor. Sex so frequently takes down even the mighty and powerful. But the real tragedy is these girls imported from China who think they’re coming to the US for a better life and get corralled into exploitation.

and then forced into prostitution.  I hope this results in a huge trial where people like Kraft, a multi-billionaire who thinks this will probably just go away with a fine and a slap on the wrist, will face just punishment.  This was a sting operation in Florida so there’s plenty of proof on tape, if it’s allowed into evidence.  It’s a darn shame.  This guy is not only a billionnaire, but he’s 77 years old, the owner of the NFL Superbowl Champion New England Patriots, and has now has done nothing but disgrace the league, the Patriots, and himself.  I hope he pays for this dearly, but I’m betting at some point it will all eventually go away…..for him at least.

there are going to be some VERY high profile names (bigger than Kraft) coming out of the investigation.  It’s been reported he knew nothing about the trafficking operation, but was "only" a customer of massage parlor.  (Why would someone who has 6 billion freaking dollars go to a cheap ass massage parlor anyway?)  I hope the NFL will discipline him, but I doubt Goodell has the stones to do anything.  He is such a sorry excuse for a commissioner.

Human trafficking is a horrible activity and I hope all who were involved in the expoitation of these women pay the highest price possible.  The lives of the women will never be normal, but I hope part of the penalty is the perpetrators of this sick crime have to give up a bunch of money so it can be distributed amongst the victims.

Kraft took the tawdry route to bypass any women who might want some compensation and put this out to the press. Ala chicks like Stormy Daniels. And yes, someone reported at least one celeb bigger than Kraft was involved as well.
And thinking too Kraft won’t have a huge price to pay and with his legal team might slither out of this. But videos do make it a bit more complex.
And how bout the Jussie Smollett incident? I think his Empire days might be over.

It certainly looks like JS was the perpetrator of a major hoax which I suspected from the beginning.  As a gay woman, it really pisses me off.  In 1986 or 87, a gay male acquaintance was asked for a ride by 2 guys outside of a club.  Being the nice guy he was, Simon said he would do it.  Simon was never heard from again.  Fortunately the 2 guys ran their mouths to someone who called the police and told them where the body could be found.  I’m not even going to say what was done to him.

JS spits on the memory of Simon, Matthew Shepard, Emmett Till and anyone else who have truly been victims of hate crimes.  And if he’s found guilty of mail fraud I hope he is locked up for the maximum number of years.

I was stunned to learn the Bills had inquired about AB and seriously! I knew it wasn’t the right fit (why would the league’s best WR come here?!) and I’m glad it didn’t go through. But how Coach McDermott would even consider this kind of “character” just made no sense. I’m thinking the Raiders might be his home.

I think the blue collar people of Buffalo are too good for that drama queen.

I’m glad it didn’t work out. I could just see AB as a major headache here and with rookie Josh Allen needing time to gel, Antonio would grow instantly impatient and complain he’s not getting the ball.
