Now that Human Target has been cancelled, will they bring back Mark Valley as Jack? (He played Jack in the 90’s) Although Matt Ashford IS Jack, I could still get used to looking at Mark Valley every day!

I just found out that Valley’s show had been cancelled so maybe it IS his Jack that is returning, although I can’t see Mark going back to an iffy soap opera after making it big in prime time. But it’s possible he’s the one coming back. I’d like it to be John but if we can’t have Drake back, I’d take Mark. I really liked him with William Shatner in that law show, which my oldtimer’s is preventing me from recalling the name…

… Boston Legal. One of my favorites, it was on for five seasons (2004-2008). Mark Valley played attorney Brad Chase. Boston Legal was a spinoff of The Practice.

I could live with Mark Valley returning as Jack, though I’m curious how they’d write his character. If he comes across too "goofy" then it won’t work.

i can’t remember, did mark valley ever actually appear on screen (on days) with melissa reeves? i thought they had the replacement jen on during that time. i do like mark valley (hubba hubba), so it might be ok for him to come back on days.

I know he was on when Peter Blake was on and marrying Jennifer. It was Missy’s Jennifer that Peter "killed" and they had her as portray an angel during her funeral to trap Peter and arrest him. If I’m not mistaken Mark Valley was still Jack at that time.

i do remember he was on the same time as Peter, so maybe what i am remembering is mark valley’s jack was never romantically involved with melissa’s jennifer? i don’t know

Right. He came back and Jennifer was already involved with Peter but Jack was constantly trying to break them up. Then came Peter’s trying to gaslight and Jack involved in that one also I remember them all living in the same house, Jack, Jennifer and Laura even though Jack and Jennifer weren’t together anymore.

oh yes, and didn’t mark valley’s jack have an affair with laura (jennifer’s mom)- they met in the asylum, not knowing who each other was.

Yes they did, I was greatful then it wasnt the original Jack. that was when they had the stand in Jennifer too, I think she was the worst recast ever.
