    at Steinmart yesterday and there was an old lady (probably in her late 70s) ahead of me and she had a Spanx "panty."  And she was skinny as a rail.  We struck up a conversation about something I was buying (a harmonica for my g.son) and I asked her why she thought she needed the "girdle."  She said, "I don’t have much of it but I need the Spanx to keep it where it belongs."  :o)

    I thought Madison’s dress looked cheap and definitely too short for a serious business woman.

    for the situation that they are in – it’s like they are all on the fashion run-way.  What kills me is they (actors) at the Horton Place (or whatever new set is called) and they are freezing (and we’ve had this discussion before where it’s suppose to be "inside"), but they are wearing short sleeves, backless, and others are wearing coats, scarves, gloves and boots for snow!  Silly and distracting from the dialog of the show.
