Big day for you Patti.  The Chargers are 7-1 on the road.  Will the stout Ravens D be able to put enough pressure on Rivers?  Will Lamar be able to complete the big pass on third and long?  This will be a very interesting game.

The Colts D looked amazing, but will they be able to keep Mahomes and company in check?  They didn’t score during the second half in Houston.  Luck’s offense will need to match the Chiefs drive for drive and then some.  Andrew is at his best indoors on turf.  This one will be interesting.

I didn’t make it through the first half of Seahawks-Cowboys.  Fell asleep some time during the second quarter.  Woke up in the middle of the night and went back to check the score.

Am looking forward to Eagles-Bears because of the Foles factor.  I know this is a big "what if", but what if Foles leads them to another Super Bowl?  I doubt he’d be satisfied being a backup to Carson.  He’s a free agent after the season ends and I’d love for him to come to Jax.

regarding the Eagles that Foles is a better QB than Carson. Foles you would think will want a starter job now so that makes things more complicated for next season. And there will be many interested in his services whether Philly continues on or not.
Rooting bigtime for Colts, as coach Reich was a fav when he played for the Bills. But yes, Luck will need to keep the pressure on playing against Patrick H if Colts have any chance.
As for Ravs, they did beat Chargers pretty handily earlier, so will this be a repeat or not?

until it was practically too late.  Love Lamar, but he has to learn to secure the ball.  They had our number yesterday, and forced a passing game on us.  Too bad, but I think another year or two and he’ll be right up there with the cream of the crop.  I would have liked to see what Joe would have done in the second half, but that wasn’t going to happen.  Too bad, because I think it might have made a difference in the outcome.  Better luck to all three of us next season!

I honestly felt as bad for them as I did for us.

He said all of his teammates were very supportive.  After all, he did make 3 field goals and it would have been 4 if Coach P hadn’t called timeout.  I’d love to know the odds of hitting an upright from that distance as it is such a small window.

Harbaugh and company were calling plays that indicated they didn’t have much faith in Lamar’s arm.  I think he will be just fine in years to come.  Virtual hug to you as I was thinking about you during the game.

with putting 7 DBs on their D for the whole game. Something Lamar hadn’t seen. Sorry for Ravs, but I like Rivers too so glad he’s getting a chance this late in his stellar career. And the Bears kicker has hit the upright 7 times. Glad the Colts won too – they could be dangerous.

For all the buildup hoopla Bama just wasn’t in it.

That was an old fashioned ass whoopin!  I don’t see Trevor Lawrence lasting past his junior year before declaring eligible for the draft.
