Can someone clarify what Kristin’s relationship to EJ is? I know that Susan (her sister) gave birth to him, which would make her his aunt. But the other day on the show, when she walked in, she asked him if he had time for "his sister"?? Huh? I also know that there is a possibility that she may be his mother so I am totally confused with the whole sister statement.
are not sisters, there is no relationship between them. Stefano hired Susan to look like Kristen to have a baby to replace the one Kristen lost whom he fathered via IVF. Susan’s sisters were Penelope, Sister Moira, and…and…help me, someone. (Didn’t there end up being five of them?) She also had a brother, can’t think of his name either.
So not only was Susan a double for Kristen, but all of Susan’s siblings too? Who was writing that crap back then? Thank goodness I wasn’t really watching!
for her siblings. Although Eileen Davidson played all the parts, the Banks were all different people. I’m not 100% certain but I’m thinking it was still James E. Reiley who was writing at that time.
My opinion of it was that it was pretty entertaining for a while but they just carried it too far. Eileen did an amazing job but she got burned out playing all those characters because she was on screen just about every day. She did a fabulous job of it but IMO became way too much.
I really loved ED at that time and hated to see her leave. Her character started out good but the problems with John and Marlena turned her bad but, for me, she was kind of like Nicole. You felt sorry for her because of what was happening. It was the same when she lost her baby and kept up the charade, she was so heartbroken. I think that was the beginning of her going to the "dark" side.
Her siblings were doubles, just that they all looked like Kristin to am extent. I didn’t watch regularly then, but I taught school and one of our male teachers loved Days. Every now and then he’d come in at lunch and turn on the TV in the staff room. I’d catch bits and pieces of the show, that’s how I remember all of the look alike characters. Wasn’t this around the time of Marlenas possession? I missed that whole storyline too, thank goodness.
Kristin and her brother, Peter Blake, were orphaned as children and taken in by Stephano as his wards. Kristin was pregnant by John Black, but miscarried. Stephano found a look-alike (Susan Banks) and hired her to impersonate Kristin (with false teeth placed over her own teeth, she did look like Kristin). Susan was artifically inseminated with Stephano’s sperm. While Susan was groggy during the procedure, Stephano stood beside her, dressed in a white Elvis-style jumpsuit. Susan thought that Elvis was the father of her baby and named him Elvis. Kristin is the older adopted sister of EJ (Elvis, son of Susan and Stephano).
Susan had a sister (Sister Mary Moira), a brother (Thomas) and another sister (Penelope, a movie star, I believe, who didn’t grow up with the other three siblings). Eileen played all five parts, and did a great job.
